Optimizing LED TV for SD Channels

    Hi guys,

I bought a 32-inch LED TV (full HD) Samsung UA32EH5000 to get rid of our old bulky CRT TV.
But I didn't know then that regular channels will look blurry (like it came from VCD's).
We used to have Sky Cable digibox. Then we opted to switch to HD box, (that's an additional 299).
I thought the regular channels (like ABS-CBN) will improve, but it looks like they didn't.
I don't have much knowledge about LED TV's, but do they really behave that way for non-HD channels? Sometimes I want to switch to my old TV ... looks like HD TV's are only good for watching movies.
Also, do you think if a TV is not full HD (like it's just a plain LCD TV or HD-ready) the pictures will be more OK for SD channels?

Hope you can answer my questions.

    Thanks.

Yup. Ganyan talaga ang HD TV. The showrooms will wow you with HD videos to highlight the TV's HD features and qualities but I've never seen a showroom showing an actual TV broadcast as a demo for their LCD/LED TVs.
