(whoops, sorry I just made a rant. haha)

    But anyway, I think you're right, there are a lot of classifications. How do we classify someone as unemployed? According to the link, they base this from an "internationally-accepted definition" of who is unemployed;
    I think the best way is to determine the amount one needs to earn each month in order to receive basic needs, e.g., access shelter that does not violate local building codes, around 2,000 calories of food daily containing recommended levels of nutrition, access to education or training that is sufficient (e.g., at least the presence of roofs, blackboards, etc., with a ratio of one seat and set of instructional materials per student or trainee), access to public transport and work places that follow local rules regarding safety, etc., etc.

    Given that, there will certainly have to be a national minimum wage, it will likely have to be higher than around P400 a day, and employment will have to be defined as working around 40 hours a week at minimum wage or reaching a certain monthly sum.

    If this takes place, then official poverty rates will rise significantly, together with other indicators, such as the lack of health care and nutrition. But since it is a bad idea for government to present more logical indicators, then it will always adjust criteria so that citizens will hear better news.

    Ganun naman talaga dapat di ba? Panay sisi sa gobyerno, pero kanino ba nangaling ang gobyerno? Sino ba naglalagay sa pwesto sa mga yan? Tapos pag walang nagawa, sisihiin ang gobyerno.

    Pag di gusto patalsikin sa pwesto ang nakaupo kahit anong oras na ayaw na ng tao, pero ayaw naman magadapt ng parliamentary form.

    I am not a Pnoy apologists. In fact I don't like Pnoy. At the same time, all I can say is, all we do is blame each other. What we need is for people to do something about it, for people to start being more creative, for people to start moving and solving the problem instead of blaming each other. What we need is more teamwork. Thats what our country lacks, teamwork. We need to think of the greater good of all and not our individual fortune.

    This is a good point, but of course the term teamwork for the one seated now in the palace is different from the real meaning of it. Team, work to remove this guy. He gave away my property.

    Well, definitely, it is the system that has to be changed. People wants job, what they need to have it? Education? What they need to get to school? Money. If they don't have money, what they got? Poor quality of education. Now to solve temporarily, a program was created in the name of CCT. Is it enough?

    tuloy-tuloy ang remittance ng mga OFWs. tumataaas pa nga eh.

    tuloy-tuloy ang pag bayad ng tax ng mga pinoy, lalu na yung middle class. diyan nga kinukuha ang ibang pondo ng CCT eh.

    ano pa ba namang excuse? ah external factors, previous admin.

    sabagay matatapos na ang impeachment mamayang hapon, baka sakaling bumuti na.

    President Noynoy, you've got what you wanted. No more excuses. The people deserve much better than this jobless rate. We expect much higher economic growth. Enough with lame excuses.

    THIS IS YOUR BOSS SPEAKING.
