A Regretful Chance..

I am currently studying in a UAAP participating school just like anyone else here (well, I suppose ). I am a New Freshman in my university and I really want to try my luck transferring to ADMU as a transferee scholar. I really have high dreams and I just want to try and see if I can grab a chance attaining them. I've got the guts, yes, but I don't know if I have the brains and the capacity to pass. My family is in the 150,000-250,000 annual income bracket. Would you guys please tell how can I apply as a transferee scholar? Can I apply next semester or next year na? I don't really know eh

By the way, I didn't take ACET last year. I didn't knew na free pala yun sa mga with honors. I'm so dumb. Eh kasi naman.. 'Di ata naman kakayanin eh UST pa nga lang baka mamatay na kami sa tuition! Kaya hindi ko na tinry. I took USTET and UPCAT, and the admission test of my university. I passed it all kaso yun nga lang sa UST, Academic Placement (pero passed sa BS Nursing). Sa UP, failed pero pasok ang UPG sa UPLB as recon (2.607).

I kinda get the feeling that the reasons why you wanna transfer to Ateneo are quite bent. Why hide the university you come from? Did you even try calling the office of admission and aid regarding transferring first if you're that desperate? Personally, I don't think that you're actually pursuing this dream of yours because you don't even have the initiative to inquire or even know more about this school you're desperately trying to enter.

If this were truly your dream, then why didn't you take the ACET last year? How would you expect Ateneo to accept your application if you don't even have the confidence to take on step one? I kinda get the feeling as well that you usually second guess yourself much so why even bother if you're like this? If you can't afford to study in Ateneo plus as you said "don't have the brains and capacity to pass" doesn't that already answer your question or give you an idea whether or not you will be accepted as a scholar? Putting this aside, I don't see why you drag the word luck in this discussion. Clearly, when you have the brains to do it you wouldn't need luck. Fine, let's say you got "lucky" this time do you really think that luck can guarantee you a scholarship or more importantly an Ateneo diploma? You will get kicked out in no time. If you can separate reality from your expectations, then maybe Ateneo isn't the right school for you, just my two cents worth.
