MANILA, Philippines - Confirmed: Parañaque City Councilor Alma Moreno (photo) is definitely running for Senator in the 2013 mid-term elections under Sen. Bong Revilla’s Bagong LAKAS-CMD party which was launched recently.

Politics is not alien territory to Alma who is the current Secretary General of the national Liga ng Mga Konsehal, a position that has been bringing her to every nook and cranny of the country. She’s on her last term as councilor of Parañaque City where her ex-husband Joey Marquez served as mayor.

She’s the newest addition to the growing list of stars running next year.

Alma’s senatorial bid was formally announced by Sen. Bong during the party launch.

Matagal ko ng sinasabi, hindi angkop sa pilipinas ang democratic form of government na tulad ng sa america. Masyado tayong irresponsable. Si MP sa 2022 tatakbo yan presidente, either si Chavit o si atienza siguro VP niya, hehehe, di pa siya pwede sa 2016, di pa siya pasok sa age requirement for president.

By 2028 baka yung pamangkin naman ni Kris at Noynoy, tapos 2034 si Josh (kaya nga may budoy na teleserye to promote him, hahaha). 2040 si Bimbi naman.
