    2nd Degree Application (pre-med)

I recently graduated from another school in Manila. I haven't applied for work yet since I plan to take another degree. I would like to pursue a career in medicine, and DLSU is one of my prospective universities for my pre-med.

I've read in the DLSU website that they are only accepting 2nd degree applicants who are graduates of DLSU Manila. Unfortunately, I also failed four of my subjects(about 12 units) in my first bachelor's degree. Does this mean I am no longer qualified to apply in DLSU?

Ang strict pala talaga ng mga requirements ng mga schools when it comes to 2nd degree applicants. I have no idea about UST's application procedures and criteria, pero sa La Salle ko talaga gusto.

Anyway, this is where i read the criteria:

Hindi mo kailangan mag take ng premed course para makapagmedicine, may nabasa nga ako dun sa UST thread na may mga graduate ng IT, comsci, religious studies eh.

Ang kailangan mo eh magtake ng units na required sa med. (Biology, zoology, biochem (?))

Malaking malaking chunk ng pera at panahon ang sasayangin mo sa isang pang course eh kung mag med proper ka na.

Yes, I can apply immediately to a medical school, but I think I will have difficulties coping with the lessons since I have little background in Biology and Chemistry. Engineering Management yung program ko dati, and Physics lang yung science subject/course ko, karamihan engineering and business math. Kaya ayun, I want to take another degree with several units in Bio and Chem so I will have sufficient preparation for NMAT and for Medical School. As much as I want to avoid spending lots of money again for a 2nd Degree, I do not know any schools/universities na nag-ooffer ng units in Bio, Chem, and/or other related sciences, without requiring the student to enroll in a baccalaureate degree (*** tipong mga Certificate trainings and courses lang). I tried looking for seminars din, but to no avail, kaya naisip ko na lang na mas Ok kung kuha na lang ako ng isa pang degree

Thanks for the info Anyway, can you tell me more details? (i.e. Will I attend classes with regular students, or are there different classes for people taking only selected course units?)

sorry, I'm not familiar with their system. Nalaman ko lang na nag-ooffer sila ng units kasi yung mga gusto makapasok sa PLM dun sila kumukuha ng kulang nilang subjects (strict kasi ang PLM sa units).
