Yes sir. Ang tendency ko kasi matulog na agad after work or bago mag-school kaya di na ako nakakaexercise. I know, excuses pero I will exert an effort to work out in the following days.

@brianpex - Not necessarily useless and wrong. Like I've said to my first post,we're focusing more on the diseases-related nutrition and not on Sports Nutrition. We've only covered the topic for like,2-4 meetings in one semester. Majority of our professors in UP are female, or safe to say,100% of our Nutrition Health Sciences Division is composed of female professors and staff. Our institution focuses on poverty related nutrition problems, diseases, food service and management and also public health. The topics covered are not useless. I admit our curriculum lacks essential topics in Sports Nutrition that's why I sought help to fitness experts like them.

@tanjol,thanks for the great help Sir. Much appreciated.

@chelsea your probably eating too much unhealthy food. whats your height nga pala? you can start by avoiding ice tea, latte, frapucino, softdrinks and the likes and you should start working out.. now a dayhs typical filipina body ang payat pero malaki tiyan @_@ then i see them order these frap, or shakes or whatever.. and i just go like "cge kain pa ng mga ganyan kaya ang papanget ng katawan e" anyway there are plenty of thing you can do at home.. bodyweight exercises, you cna look it up in google or youtube.. and start there

I just told myself na i'm tired explaining that you can't spot-reduce. Paulit ulit ako tapos sasabihing nagmamagaling ako.

    Losing Belly Fat

Based from my experience, belly fat is caused primarily by your diet. I suggest, if you're trying to gain weight mostly from muscles, you should determine first the amount of calories, carbohydrates and protein you need, accordingly with the kind of lifestyle and body type you have. As for my case I'm 5'10'', with 3250 calories, 320 carbohydrates and 200 Protein requirement. I try my best to meet that coming from healthy and nutritious foods... no junk as much as possible.

Napansin ko rin, nagkaruoon ako ng belly fat nung sumobra mahigit sa carbohydrate requirements ko. Way back, I ate close to 500 carbohydrates a day. Tendency kase ng katawan natin, kapag sobra sa carbs, nagiging fats sya, likewise, most carbohydrate food sources with wheat causes bloating. So itsura ng tyan mo e may belly fat + bloated hahaha..

SO I suggest, try to determine your maximum requirement ng carbohydrates mo, and never go beyond that... and consume Complex Carbs only during the morning, then try to avoid complex carbs throughout the day...Only increase your Calories when you no longer see any weight gain of approximately 2lbs a month. That's the average amount of muscle weight gain per month, beyond that is fat gain.
