Hi everyone. I'm a upcoming highschool senior. And I've been thinking of taking up BS Psych for college. Which do you think is the best university I can go to? UP, LA SALLE, ATENEO, OR UST? HEEELP PLEASE!

Hi everyone. I'm a upcoming highschool senior. And I've been thinking of taking up BS Psych for college. Which do you think is the best university I can go to? UP, LA SALLE, ATENEO, OR UST? HEEELP PLEASE!
Take UST out - it's in a league below. All the rest would be great for Psychology, but UP Diliman would be the best.
Ateneo then La Salle as per a thread here somewhere discussing schools for BS Psych. Just look it up.
tinatanong pa ba ito? of course UP(if Diliman).
the which-is-better argument does not hold, because if you passed UPCAT (Diliman, specifically), it means you are good, and we all know UP is good at everything(i did not say 'the best' at everything, and by everything i mean the curricula of the programs of study, to the pexers with poor reading comprehension) and the tuition is much much cheaper + the good image(read:matalino) that comes with being a UP student.
plus the UP Med priority.
again, i'm wondering why you had to ask about this.
La Salle and Ateneo are expensive and the scholarships are impossible to get(not literally impossible, to the pexers who were not introduced to the concept of figures of speech, which in this case is exaggeration).
UST is just, for lack of an adjective, meh. if you do not pass UPCAT, you have to consider this option, because it's cheaper than DLSU or Ateneo.
honestly, economics lang naman ang i-aapply sa pagpili ng school eh, if you are choosing between these four. academic considerations don't matter, wala namang board exam ang psych and the deviations of the quality of the curriculum are very little. pataasan lang ng ihi ang iniisip ng ibang pexers diyan. no sincere desire to help you.
if you are genuinely wise and you actually need guidance, you should follow my advice, unless you're some flamebaiting fantard who only wants to incite unrest in the academe forums.
PS:
sorry but kapag other UP campus, the UP-is-superior argument does not hold sa lahat ng programs of study. depende na sa specializations ng campus. i have nothing against the student bodies of these campuses.
to sum it up
1st choice: UP(of course)
2nd: UST, if you cannot afford the other two w/o scholarships OR DLSU/Ateneo if you get a scholarship
3rd: Ewan. siguro Ateneo w/o a scholarship. mas mura kesa sa DLSU
I'd still go for UP Diliman even if I get to study this program at either DLSU or AdMU on a full-ride. UP Pysch has the best student body, best reputation and is an excellent feeder program to UP Medical School and UP Law School. It simply is unbeatable!
F.Y.I
there is a board exam for psychology
REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10029
March 16, 2010
AN ACT TO REGULATE THE PRACTICE OF PSYCHOLOGY CREATING FOR THIS PURPOSE A PROFESSIONAL REGULATORY BOARD OF PSYCHOLOGY, APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
Board of Psychology is almost complete and they are just waiting for PRC to promulgate the law. if they pass the board, they will be will be given a title as "Registered Psychologist"- for Master's degree holder, and "Registered Psychometrician"- for BS/BA Holder.
really? merong board exam? ok then. that's not a major part of my point though.
UPD pa rin ang wisest choice. kahit pa hindi number one(which is unfortunately not the case)
Of course, UP Diliman(with emphasis)! Ateneo de Mla, La Salle(Taft) and UST are not far behind!
