  2. #42
    No.

People will bend the rule of law to justify society's caprice. People will crave for freedom about anything until such time that the world is in anarchy.

same sex marriage - not in favor
same sex relationship - in favor

People are entitled to their own opinions. We all have free will but we have to use it responsibly. We have different takes or views on things which others need to respect. Let's face it, some people will always be judgmental because they exalt and consider themselves as holy. All of us are equal.

If all of us were equal, why are you NOT in favour of same-sex marriages? Are you MORE EQUAL than gay people?

I don't get why some people are against same sex marriage being legalized. I mean, it's not you who is going to get married naman. What's up with that?

For women pregnancy is like having a foot on your gave and it makes no difference to teenage daughters. If there is threat to life then maybe you can consider abortion (and according to wikipedia such reason is already acceptable in the country) but to legalize abortion like it's a choice even for women with perfect health? I don't think so.

A couple of centuries ago, emancipation of women is just that: societies' caprice. Society evolves and laws and tradition must bend on this evolution.

Don't give me the: why fix when it ain't broke, god knows how broken and backward society some conservative people have become.

yeah, we do lack the intellect to tackle this issue head on, we lack the intellect to tackle many, many issues.

whatever your view is on this, it shouldn't be a question that PNoy is our president, and trapos dominate politics, and we act like the church is part of the Constitution.

...And don't you find it cute that some people would go as far as saying that "napag-iiwanan na tayo" as if one's progress depend on the legalization of divorce, abortion, etc. Cute. Cute. Cute.
hate it or not, the treatment of minorities has always been a valid measure of society's progress. to find it 'cute' is stupid.

Why are you giving me scenario when you are asking for an across-the-board total legalization of abortion?

ps. I find the scenario to be mirroring communism. If the society has no utility over the child, does that mean the child should be deprived of life? So it's like if it's not useful, throw it. Wow. Great.

In other words, we should commit genocide over all the special children in this planet?

I don't see why not, honestly. But then again am pro-choice. In any case it's hypocritical not to allow women proper access to birth control while at the same time banning abortions when inevitably, "natural family planning" fails.

as for the topic, yes to RH, yes to abortion, yes to gay marriage. if all three were enacted, then why not? dunno if filipinos are ready though.

It's not common sense. It's easy to say that because we're fortunate to be alive but what would you feel if your mom actually contemplated on having an abortion when she conceived you?

Laws are meant to guide people on what to and what not to do. Per-lease.

not society, certainly not. layo ng mirror mo, ilagay mo sa tama.
    the society shouldn't decide.

anyway, the definition of a 'child' there is suspect.
