Plot:
'Cult' revolves around an inquisitive young female production assistant (Jessica Lucas) on a wildly popular television series who joins a journalist blogger (Matt Davis) in investigating the show's rabid fans. Together, the duo finds the fans might be re-creating crime scenes from the show in their real lives -- behavior that has lead to a rash of disappearances and a likely murder. Alona Tal and Robert Knepper fill out the cast. The project, which also counts Schwartz, Savage and Goldstein as EPs, hails from Warner Bros. TV, Fake Empire, NS Pictures Inc. and CBS Television Studios. Joining the trio of producers are writer-producer Rockne O'Bannon and EP and pilot director Jason Ensler.

Well, according to the Wikipedia article:

Dahil matatapos na ang 2012, malamang next year na ito ipapalabas sa US.

the pilot episode was released online last week, it was just okay. It's a ripoff of The Following.

OK yung pilot. Galing pa din ni Robert Knepper. Parang hindi lang masyadong bagay sa CW to.

I like the show within a show concept. Sana yung actual show maging katulad nung fake show na sucessful at magkaron din ng madaming "Following". Halos pareho talaga sila ng The Following but I wouldn't call it a rip off, since sabay lang halos naman sila nag start mag-air.

I think the pilot is okay! Goosebumps on "The Following" opening pa lang! but nevertheless, I think it's okay, I just don't know if the programming is fit for CW.
