Hindi rin nati-trigger ang pagiging introvert. It's what some people are born to be. We just live in a world dominated by extroverted people and the opposite have to adjust and that can lead to emotional and mental problems.

Can you really pretend to be an extrovert? Or medyo confused pa rin ako sa meaning nung word. Pwede mo pakipaliwanag sa layman's term?

Paano naman natin masasabi na dominated ng mga extroverts and mundo when for all we know baka nga mas marami ang introverts pero di lang natin alam kasi nga they are not as showy as the other.

Yung mga nakilala ko kasi its more on parang feeling nila parati silang hinuhusgahan dahil nga sa itsura nila kaya they prefer to live on a world of their own.

My definition of introvert yung loner, while yung extrovert yung masyadong pa-"bida". Both are annoying actually and for me both are extreme form of social misbehaviour. I think most people sa mundo neither pure introvert or extrovert. Combination of both siguro.

Why would you say that an introvert (i.e. loner) is annoying if he/she doesn't even bother to talk to you?

    Unless:
a.) You're in a relationship with an introvert
b.) You're in love with an introvert
    c.) You're friends with one

Ano pa ba pwedeng rason? Maiintindihan ko pa yung pagiging annoying ng extrovert kasi nga by your description masyadong pa-bida.

Ang problema din kasi pag loner ang isang tao, naturally ang judgment agad ng iba is mukhang lonely at kawawa but they probably prefer it that way. Meron din namang marunong makipag-socialize di lang ganun ka grabe gaya ng mga extrovert and would find ways to extricate himself siguro yun yung half/half.

^well my point ka nga, siguro annoying is more for extrovert not introvert, my mistake.

  7. #27

  8. #28
    ^^

Ayaw mo pa nun wala kang kontra, ikaw ang bida while they mind their own business and would just give you a nod or if they're gracious a one word retort.

Yeah that extrovert would really be annoyed.

    Aray. Ang sakit.

I call myself socially inept at times. People talk too much kasi. It's vexing. I immensely enjoy solitude. However, when at work, I can be Ms. Congeniality. Even in PEX, I often post one or two lines and I'm not everybody's friend.

I like spending time alone or with just a few people. I'm not a fan of crowded places. Sometimes I have difficulties with public speaking. I have a hard time being vocal especially with emotions, I express myself better through other means.

But I can befriend anyone. I have the most mababaw sense of humor, I laugh and smile a lot. I can stand up and sing in front of a crowd if I have to -- albeit with a shy, shaky, soft voice and all. I can crack jokes and tell stories (complete with feelings and reenactment) in front of a close-knit group without feeling self conscious.

I have been called 'suplada', but I have also been called 'charming'. I think I'm probably 60% introvert, 40% extrovert.

So I guess 60% panget pala ako.

I took a personality test and it's right, I am an introvert or as the result specifically said an INTJ.

    Summary:
    You are:
    • very expressed introvert
    • moderately expressed intuitive personality
    • slightly expressed thinking personality
    • slightly expressed judging personality

You can try if you have the time.
    Jung Typology Test

I am also reading the book AmbotSaEMO posted. Thanks BTW.

Anyone, introvert or not, can exhibit social misbehavior. It depends on upbringing and possible emotional and mental health problems. Introverts don't gain social acceptance immediately unlike the loud, outgoing types so emotional problems easily develop, and it could lead to depression or other mental disease. Everyone goes through depression though but introverts encounter social problems on a daily basis so it's easier to get depressed.

And you won't know right away if someone's an introvert because most of the introverts were taught early in life to conquer their social inadequacy. Parents and teachers usually see it as shyness because introverts usually start out as shy when they're kids. That's not true for everyone but for me it is. I was bullied in pre-school and early grade school becasuse I was shy. I learned to toughen it up later on. My parents are introverts too but I really never understood before why they claim to be that way because they're very capable leaders.

It's true. Not many people will enable you to act completely like yourself. Others would misinterpret that as suplada or anything else. Even if there's a degree of pretension, harm is never the intention. It's always to have a harmonious relationship with the extroverts.

Isipin mo scale. One end introvert another end extrovert.
Tama yung nabanggit ng someone here, may problema na siguro yun kung you're at the ends (100% introvert o extrovert) Most people, if not all naman eh somewhere in the middle but leans towards one end. Kadalasan kasi labelling ang ginagawa, you're either introvert or an extrovert. Ang totoo niyan you lean towards either one but you can still possess some traits of the other end.

Another thing, personally, I believe the surroundings plays a bigger role here. Sabi nga your experiences shapes you. So depende yun sa expectations, sa people you interact with, etc.

At saka, nakakainis yung tatanungin kang:
    Ba't ang tahimik mo?

    Bakit hinde? Masama?

Eh kung sila kaya tanungin kong
    Ba't ang daldal mo?

    Ang hirap kaya sagutin yun.

Okay ito ah. I took the test. Here's the result ():

    Your Type is
    ISFP

Qualitative analysis of your type formula

    You are:
    very expressed introvert
    slightly expressed sensing personality
    moderately expressed feeling personality
    slightly expressed perceiving personality

Apparently, my calculations were wrong so I stand corrected. I am 78% introvert.

ISFPs may be quite charming and ingratiating on first acquaintance, flowing with compliments which may (or may not) be deserved. On other occasions, the same individual may be aloof and detached.
...in general they are very difficult to observe and thus greatly misunderstood. Very likely the difficulty comes from their tendency not to express themselves verbally, but through their works of art. Composers are usually not interested in developing ability in public speaking, or even in the art of conversation; they prefer to feel the pulse of life by touch, in the muscles, in the eyes, in the ears, on the tongue. Make no mistake, Composers are just as interested as other types in sharing their view of the world, and if they find a medium of non-verbal communication-some art form-then they will express their character quite eloquently. If not, they simply remain unknown, their quietness leaving their character all but invisible.
Sakto. What did I tell ya

According to the personality test, pareho kaming personality ni MIchael Jackson.

I can't help but be annoyed at her. Ang tahi-tahimik niya. Walang imik. Parang may sarili siyang mundo. Parang may kasama akong multo.

Kahit sa actions e. Like nung may business trip kami abroad, may bitbit akong pasalubong mula pinas, siya wala.
