i really wish d madadagdagan injuries ng Cs... kasi sa ngayon, tingin ko, hanggang game 7 to.... pero kung healthy ang Cs, i think they can get it done ng 5... pero i really don't think kakayanin nila philadelphia kasi healthy players nila. oks pa din depensa ng Cs, yung offense problema lalo nat injured si Pierce. pero i still wish Cs would win this series... Good
I'm expecting Ray and Bass to bounce back on this series.
Both have terrible offensive game vs the hawks series.
Ray missing crucial FTs /facepalm
sila yung huling naglaro sa east, sila yung mauunang maglaro sa east semis...hehe.
if health will be an issue here, maybe the 76ers will pull this upset.
I wonder if Doc will going to give Stiemer and Hollins more PT this series so KG can play at the 4 spot again.
Para kasing kayang kaya ni KG si Brand na undersize![]()
Badtrip 1 day rest lang, ang dami pa naman injuries ng C's
Ray Allen has the ankle issues that will need surgery. Pierce has a sprained MCL. Avery bradley's shoulder pops out on the regular. KG has hip flexor issues. Stiemsma's feet are messed up. Pietrus has knee + hamstring issues.
8th seed vs 4th seed.
Celtics have the HCA. Game One tomorrow 8 A.M
Advantage of the Celtics:
*Experience, nuff said.
*Match-ups, Rondo>Holiday, Bradley can surely guard Turner, Pierce will dominate Iguadala at both ends of the court, Bass has a slight edge over the Brand and KG being 2004-KG in the playoffs and Hawes is too soft for him to have problems on defense and offense.
*Peaking at the Right Time Celtics won the Four of the Last Five games of the previous series(vs ATL), Expect them getting Hot from the get-go.
*Home Court Advantage Celtics are 24-9 in the season and UNDEFEATED on their home floor this postseason, and the Sixers are 16-17 on the road but won a Game Two Road Game against the Bulls, but the Celtics have a big advantage here nonetheless.
Advantage of the Sixers:
*Health For me, this team is the healthiest team in the post season. They are fast, unstoppable and a running team. Celtics had a handful of injuries this Playoffs, notably Allen, Pierce and Bradley, those were big and critical in a Physical Series.
*Rebounding Any team versus the Celtics, always have this advantage, because the Celtics are dead last in the rebounding department, 30th in offensive rebounds.
*Youth and Athleticism If they used this as an advantage, they can steal some games. Celtics are relying more on Half Court defense-offense, if they run run and run, an upset is not far-fetch.
*Deep Bench The Bench is the Sixers formula to success in this post season as well as helping the team to make the playoffs, and on the other side, this is the main concern of the Celtics, Ray Allen is the only true scorer off the Bench.
X-Factor for the C's: Brandon Bass. He didn't showed up in the Atlanta Series, actually in the clincher he only scored 6 points, that's not what you want on your best preseason acquisition. Expect him to bounce back from a lack luster First Round performance.
X-Factor for the 76ers: Evan Turner, if he's hot, they win, if he's not, they lose, simple logic.
The Verdict: Celtics in Five Games. With the C's winning the first three, the Sixers winning the give away game on Game Four and finishing them on the Celtics floor in Game 5.![]()
I don't really follow teams in the East but I admire Celtic veterans tenacity even if they don't have a deep and effective bench like the Spurs so I would root for them but I wouldn't be surprise if Sixers will win this series considering the injuries that the key Celtics have.
