One of the greatest mysteries of the unlimited season was the nature if SlaVine's (housemates Slater Young and Divine Smith) 'relationship' before they entered the house, In an interview, Slater clarifies that he and Divine knew each other back in Cebu. "I've met Divine way too long ago because she's the sister of one of my closest friends. We would also bump into each other sa mga gimik sa Cebu. We belong to the same circle . I remember meeting her in a pictorial for a local newspaper in Cebu but it was more of a hi-hello-goodbye encounter." A month before they went inside the Big Brother house, Slater remembers attending a charity fashion show that the Maitland-Smith sisters also participated in. "There i was formally introduced to Divine by her sister but we never got to hang out pa." adds the Cebuano engineer-turned-housemate. "I didn't know that she was going to join PBB. Her sister never mentioned it because of the confidentiality clause. So when I saw her inside the Big Brother house, nagulat talaga ako ut at the same time, masaya kasi although hingi kami close, happy ako na I saw s familiar face."
