its just me or resemblance ng Ateneo jersey yun Smart Coliseum looks like manay is preparing for upcoming UAAP..

I heard SM Arena want to stage UAAP there...

NU is hosting the UAAP this season. The owners of NU also own SM Arena. So expect the most important UAAP games this season to be played at the latter.

The Araneta family still owns the Big Dome. MVP's group decided to buy naming rights and in the process, will help bankroll the refurbishment and renovation of the Big Dome. I don't really think MVP's group has absolute say on the design and color as this will still have to go through the Araneta family for final approval.

Note also Mar Roxas' campaign color last 2010. It was blue as well - which is not a coincidence since Mar's family owns the Araneta Coliseum.

well it depends if Smart-Araneta Coliseum (or the Ynares Center) is not available for the PBA, then we must say that they might play in MOA arena (and hopefully the PBA will take out Cuneta Astrodome as one of the alternative playing venue since it's too old already and not as comparable to the mentioned arenas)

may rule change na ba regarding Flagrant Foul 2?parang wala na suspension na binibigay si kume? anyare sa ff2 foul ni rabah?

  9. #49
The flagrant foul rule is incorporated in the PBA policy book. But like any policy, this may be subject for interpretation and while there are recommended penalties prescribed for each, the Commissioner has the authority to decide if he wants to retain what's in the book or execute a totally different penalty as he deems it to be.

Said latitude is expected because the Commissioner cannot strictly confine himself to the letter of the rules but more on their spirit. But I would strongly suggest to the PBA Office to re-draft this particular policy especially if the application would not conform to what is written. Policies are meant to serve as guides to decision-making, but it also can put things in black and white better.

Willie Marcial of the PBA office told me that there is no sked yet of games at MOA.

It looks like LA Tenorio is shaping up to be the best local player while Jason Forte is the best import. Both from Alaska Milk. However, this is just based on the first 3 games...

How about this? If we'll have now the 6 semifinalist, we'll be having 1 team outside SMC/MVP group leading the pack of 3 SMC and 2 MVP teams!!!
