Hi guys! Share niyo naman yung stories niyo during the process ng pagtransfer/shift sa BAPA, kung ano yung GWA niyo & kung meron bang himalang nangyari. :-) Thank youuuu!

I have a friend that failed a 5-unit major subject twice. Nakapasok sya at grad na sya ng BAPA ngayon. I don't think they're very stringent but I think hindi rin naman siya ganung kababa sa ibang requirements (GE's).

If your GWA is above 2.25 I think you may have a fair chance of being accepted to the program.

^maraming salamat po. medyo mababa po kasi yung GWA ko nung 1st sem, 2.4. Nagemail ako sa NCPAG kung may chance pa ako or kung pwede pa if ever na mahabol ko by next sem na maging dos ang GWA ko. Sabi nila, okay pa naman daw. 1.9 naman GWA ko last sem. maraming salamat po talaga. )

Your CWA (Curriculum Weighted Average, meaning the W.A. of all courses you've taken that will be credited in the BAPA curriculum) must be 2.25 and above. The new admissions system does not require the essay anymore. Just fill up the application and wait for like middle of May for the results.

Nope, CWA means yung courses na credited sa BAPA curriculum so meaning if you took Stat 101 and POLSC 11 already, then your grades in those subjects will be included in the CWA.

Ooh I see. So not included po yung GEs pala. Wala man lang ako nakuha na nasa BAPA curriculum except Math 11.

No, kasama yung GE's except that you're now included in the rule that you must take up required GE courses such as Fil 40, Comm 3 and Eng 10 under the AH domain, STS and Math 1 under the MST domain, and Philo 1 and Kas 1 under the SSP domain.

Congrats! BTW you will be taking up PA 11 under Prof. Herisadel Flores this coming semester, right? You must be very lucky!

Yes, credited yung mga sinabi mong courses. But please confirm that also with the college sec (BTW, we call our Office of the College Sec as the Center for Public Administration & Governance Education wherein the College Sec is also the Director).

Please refer to this page. Prospective transferees (not sure about shiftees) need to undergo an interview.

Yung official results nasa CPAGE office, sa may bulletin board sa labas. Yung naka-post sa site, yun lang yung for interview.

But also try counterchecking that with CPAGE.

no need for an interview for shiftees. they only require shiftees to submit the application form and the TCG/TOR.
