medyo magulo yun wantlist ninyo, guys. remember we have to fill-in every positions and not go on a hiring spree ... the team is overloaded with forward/centers.

    current DMavericks lineup:
    RBeaubous (PG)
    DCollision (PG)
    VCarter (SG)
    DahantayJones (SG)
    DominiqueJones (SG)
    SMarion (SF)
    DNowitzki (PF)
    BWright (PF)
    CKaman (C)
    EBrand (C)

    rookies:
    BJames (C) signed
    JCummigham (SG) signed
    JCrowder (SF) signed
    TDragicevic (SF) unsigned

DMavericks needs atleast 3 PGs and another shooter. Scola is a good role player and mid-range shooter but he not a 3pt specialist. the current shooting guard are questionable.

    OMayo sana ....

Gerald Green was a solid rotation player (and occassional starter) for the Nets last year. The Mavs are better of with him than Vince Carter at this point.

Anyway, I think he already signed with the Pacers

Ang mahal pala ni scola. Haha! Ok na ko nakuha na si Brand. Wohoo! Para sakin din dapat pakawalan na si VC and get OJ mayo if possible. Ganda na ng team natin. Sana gumanda ganda pa lalo yung bench.

I doubt it. Carter was largely inconsistent and slow but at least he had a low post game, handle the ball and create plays, defend and even throw a dunk or two; Green is just one-dimensional in a bad way. Maybe that's fine in Jersey where they didn't really care anymore as long as you put up points in a hurry but in a veteran team with title aspirations like Dallas it's unacceptable and stands out.

May back-up plan naman pala sila Cuban.

It may not be enough for the Mavs to be considered as a contender, but they made several personnel movement that would help them earn another spot in the playoffs.

At least, hindi masasayang ang season ni Dirk.

If we get Mayo for like $5-$6m/year we can call it an offseason. Bonus points if Delonte is part of it too. But I really, badly want Mayo.

    C - Kaman / Wright / Sarge
    F - Nowitzki / Brand
    F - Marion / Carter / Crowder
    G - Mayo / Dahntay / Cunningham / DoJo
    G - Collison / West / Roddy

Not from the Nets games that I've watched. He has a consistent 3 point shot and he also has a decent post-up game.

Even with a low post game to speak of, Carter still sucked significantly from the field and is a year older. I'd take Green at this point, but that's just me, I was doubtful when the Nets signed him but he proved last year that he's not just a dunker anymore.

Ikaw ba yung naka-usap ko before nung nag-sign si Green sa Nets? You said na he's not talented, na he's only athletic.

Oo ako yun, that analysis was based from his last time with the NBA. When he was truthfully not talented and he's only athletic and hoping he becomes a lockdown defender.

Yup kaya nga I admire him. Yung ibang athletic players with loads of potential end up being immature. Immaturity also kicked Green out of the league. But unlike other similar players, he actually developed maturity together with a better all-around game.

As a sign of his maturity, he was willing to give the Nets a discount for giving him another chance. Sayang lang at 90% discount ata ang afford ng Nets. Haha!

I also love Carter since he's a former Net, but I'd also take Green over him at this point. For the sake of discussion lang since nasa Pacers na si Green.

Nets fan are 50-50 on Hump and Lopez. But when it comes to Green, sobrang bihira yung nakita ko na ayaw kay Green.

Such a shame we couldn't afford him anymore. He was willing to give the Nets a discount. But what we could afford was not really a discount

BREAKING: Jason Terry via S&T, for a pick, Dooling, Williams, & Pietrus!"
    -------------------------------
Di ba si Pietrus ang naka-discover kay Roddy?
Yung Williams yata si crab man. Yung nagsuka sa 1st game niya as a mav.

  13. #353
Pietrus and Dooling are okay I guess, but I'd really want Mayo. And Sean Williams again? Ugh.

Excited ako sa lineup na ganyan! One thing I know is hindi mo kelangan ng 2 or more superstars para magchampion. Hardwork, teamwork at good coaching lang. Sana makuha si Mayo kelangan natin ang scoring ability nya. Plus Dwest! Pag nagkaganun pwede na magchampion! Hehe. Medyo biased lang at malaki tiwala sa team.

    update on Mayo:

@JuiceMayo32 first meeting with the Suns.

  17. #357
not a big fan of the Luis Scola bid, we already got Brand to spell Dirk so there's no need to stockpile too many big men... what we need to address is the guard position, we need a shooter who can spread the floor! the guard that we have seem to be more of slashers... OJ Mayo is a good addition, but he might demand more money, so how about Marco Bellineli? I think he can play the role that Peja used to have before...
