Angeline Quinto at Coco Martin, Huling huling Nagkukulitan



Huling-huli ang nakakakilig na kulitan nina Coco Martin at Angeline Quinto sa pictorial ng Born To Love You noong Huwebes, Mayo 3. Laging nakaalalay si Coco kay Angeline at halatang ginagawa nito ang lahat upang maging kumportable ang singer-actress sa kanilang mga sweet na kuha sa kamera.

Hanggang ngayon ay very vocal pa rin si Angeline sa kanyang paghanga para kay Coco, na mas nakilala pa niya dahil sa tambalan nila sa pelikula. “Opo, masayang masaya ako, kaya lang hindi pa niya ako sinasagot e! Pero sana nga po, next year sana kami na,” natatawang sabi niya sa panayam ng ilang ABS-CBN reporters.

Itinuturing din niyang malaking pribilehiyo na mismong ang multi-awarded actor pa ang nakapareha niya sa kanyang unang pagsabak sa acting. “Nagpapasalamat ako sa kanya dahil mula umpisa hanggang matapos, hindi niya ako pinapabayaan lalo na sa mga eksenang nahihirapan ako. Kaya lang sinisingil kasi ako e. Nagpapabayad sa akin. Sabi ko mayaman ka na,” biro pa ni Angeline.

Galanteng leading man din si Coco dahil bukod sa necklace na ibinigay nito noon ay mayroon pa itong ibinigay na mga regalo kay Angeline. “Si Coco sobrang inspirasyon ang naibigay niya para sa akin na naguumpisa pa lang. Sabi ko nga kay Coco nagpapasalamat ako dahil hindi niya ako pinababayaan at [nagpapasalamat din ako] sa mga regalo. Hahaha! Secret [kung ano]!”

Ngayong malapit ng ipalabas ang Born To Love You, magkahalong excitement at kaba ang nararamadaman ni Angeline. “Siyempre sobrang saya ko kasi itong mga nangyayari ngayon sa akin, isa lang sa mga pinangarap ko dati, lalo na ang makita at makasama ko si Coco. Pero kinakabahan din ako sa magiging feedback ng tao sa amin lalo na sa akin dahil first time ko [umarte]. Pero sobrang excited ako.”

Watching movies in theaters is still the best

Last May 2, we wrote about a resurgence of live movie watching in theaters after which we received a lot of e-mails from people agreeing with the observation. Today, the practice continues albeit with less success income-wise due to competition from worldwide blockbusters like The Avengers. During this period, we watched The Mommy Returns, Every Breath You Take, 21 Jump Street, American Pie Reunion and Dark Shadows.


We find ourselves once again praying earnestly that another Star Cinema film Born to Love You scheduled for release on May 30 makes it at the box office. After all, it is the first time for Star Power champion Angeline Quinto to appear in the movies, first for lead actor Coco Martin to do a romance film, first movie for veteran teleserye director Jerome Pobocan, but then again, there might be some secret in bringing these first-timers together.
