Alright Dear Pexer Musicians I know you got your own bedroom music recording stations or even a professional one and you may have produced, collaborated or made a song cover, so yeah please read on.
Do you have your own composed tracks, be it in any genre, produced in the comfort of your room?
Do you need help on anything related to Digital Recording, Production, Editing and Mastering?
Are you just curious or interested how audio-music videos is done [i.e. look at Boyce Avenue audio/videos in Youtube or Collaboration covers]?
If any or all of the above, this is the right place to be!
First off, what do nice sounding and quality audio production have in common? It's using a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).
Don't get me wrong, a DAW doesn't necessarily be for professional recording artists only. You can used it too with very basic knowledge on how to use it, thus, Home Recording was even better than it was 5 or 10yrs ago.
So for starters, what do I need to have?
1. A decent audio interface
2. Input - be it a microphone (a condenser or dynamic mic) for vocals or acoustic guitar or even an Electric guitar
4. Output speakers
Using the 4 items above, I have managed to record some song covers. I just recently started this hobby so there are still alot of things to improve, but I do it one step at a time.
The following are my recent covers:
My 1st Collaboration Cover:
Recorded separately by 6 people. I collated, edited and mastered the individual tracks using Ableton Live 8. I provided rhythm guitar too.
My other covers:
Love the Way You Lie - Rock Guitar Cover
Himig ng Pag-ibig - Acoustic/Vocal Cover
So kung may nais kayong malaman or gusto nyong i-share ang sariling creations/covers, 'lika na and Hit Reply!
