lahat naman may pros and cons. wala naman talaga perfect OS.
check your needs, preference, style, money willing to spend, then choose.

maraming decent review online. check it.

I believe yung Samsung Bada (Badaboom), decline na ng husto, puro android na mina-market ng Samsung...

i have n900, xperia pro, had itouch, tried windows, and soon to have n9.

for non geeks - go ios & windows

    + easy to use
+ hardware and software is well optimized
    + apps

    - no customization
    - ios get cydia then that's it. nothing to do anymore. windows is locked.
    - cat and mouse updates if doing jailbreak

for somewhat casual geek - go android

    + customization
    + somewhat open source
    + adobe flash
    + apps

    - hardware & software is not well optimized. needs powerful multi-core processors to be buttery smooth
    - hardware & software is fragmented. some things run better in snapdragon than tegra and vice versa. oem customization delays updates
    - multitasking and memory issues. apps keeps running even when closed.
    - unending rooting / rom

for geeks - go maemo / meego

    + true pc like multitasking
+ hardware and software is well optimized
    + open source
+ hack and create apps without restriction

    - less apps
    - support from nokia is dead

which os is the best for me? i choose maemo/meego. it doesn't need to have gazillion cores like android nor even rooting. it's not as boring nor restrictive like ios and windows. you don't need gazillion apps with the same function. one fully working well polished app is enough...
