the nets will have a big boost if lady luck smiles at them come the draft lottery. kahit yung 3rd pick lang ang makuha for them to keep it, that would be a great boost. they can either trade that pick and some player/s for a superstar and convince dwill to re-sign OR draft a building block as the franchise's cornerstone.

then again, this is a big IF. but who knows, the cavs got the top pick last year not with their pick but the clips' so anything is possible.

I'm guessing that they'll package that pick together with Lopez for Howard. That will suck if that happens.

I'm thinking that AK47 is about 80% sure of signing with the Nets. He already said na preference niya ang Nets at Jazz pero loaded na ang Jazz at his position. Sa Nets, mutual ang interest. On that note, make that 90% sure. Haha!

I expect that to happen until July 1st.

I've heard about the LA trade rumors. Gusto ng LA si Deron at D12. I don't see that happening especially since the Nets would want cap relief instead of Pau if ever they're going to lose D-Will.

D-Will, according to a source close to him, said that his preference is a much-improved Nets. I think we're one good player away from locking in D-Will.

From what I've read, LA's offering Bynum for D12 straight up and they're offering Pau for Deron. Of course, speculations lang to. But it's no secret that the Lakers want D12 and if the Magic will agree to a trade, si Bynum ang gusto niyan, hindi si Pau. Which leaves us with Pau for Deron. No thanks.

I'm also not a big fan of Bynum. We already have Lopez who I still think will be better down the line. I also like the attitude of Lopez better. Right now, mas kelangan ng Nets ng PG. This is especially true since guys like Hump relies on drop passes and guys like Ammo relies on drives and dishes.

Bynum is a good player but right now, it doesn't fit the Grand Plan of Brooklyn to surround Deron with great talent. We already invested in Deron and have surrounded him with players that can complement him. We just need one or more serviceable player. Besides, I'm still hoping to grab Unibrow.

Isn't there a recent article (like just a day fresh) that Deron would want to play for LA. But he did say in the end that he will only consider other teams if the Nets can't get him some help.

One thing's for sure... Deron Williams holds the fate of the whole FA crop. Once Deron makes a decision, everyone else follows.

Nope. Taga-Lipa City. Haha! Die-hard fan lang. Just like most Pinoys who have no roots sa US, I was a Bulls fan nung 90s. But then I realized na fan lang ako because of MJ and Rodman. When they retired, I tried looking for other teams to support. I briefly flirted with being a Raptors fan because of my relatives in Canada and because of Vince Carter. Pero wala din dun yung passion ko.

When the Nets drafted K-Mart, that's when I became a fan. It helped a lot na they were able to put together a good team quite quickly. Naging active ako nun sa mga basketball forum like the jumpbball.com na wala na ngayon. Moderator pa nga ako ng Nets forum nun.

Through the years, I stayed as a fan dahil feeling ko taga-NJ nako. Haha! Nakatulong din na they got Vince which is one of my fave players. They sucked, but I continued supporting the team because at the back of my mind, I know na my loyalty will be rewarded. Hoping na next season na yung hinihintay ko!

The Nets has D-Will right now. Will they be able to keep him? Yun ang tanong. Pero it's much easier to keep a player than to lure a player especially if that player is sort of committed to the other team already.

I agree that D-Will holds the key. Once D-Will commits, sunog ang phone lines.
