Looks like Dwight's wish to play for Brooklyn will be finally granted. The Russian billionaire owner of the Nets is really hell-bent on making his team an instant contender, and with Howard on their side the Nets have suddenly become one (even without still playing a single game).

Things will be really interesting in the East:

Battle of New York: BKN vs. NYK
Battle of the Atlantic: BOS vs. BKN vs. NYK

Hump is c-blocking the trade. He wants a 4 year deal from Cleveland.

I don't think they can pull off a trade in a quick snap. today's trade talk is much complicated than the previous trade talk (before trade deadline). If they'll successfully complete the trade expect Nets to have a weak bench but have one of the best starting 5.

I don't think they can pull off a trade in a quick snap. today's trade talk is much complicated than the previous trade talk (before trade deadline). If they'll successfully complete the trade expect Nets to have a weak bench but have one of the best starting 5.

I just checked the news today and it's much more complicated than yesterday.

They'll have a weak bench if BK stops putting pieces together. I heard Taylor (the rookie) played a good game in the summer league. Although it would suck to lose MarShon, we'd potentially have Richardson and/or Hedo. They're not that bad on a bench role.

A couple of power forwards showed good promise in the summer league. Toko is also a man-child who I think will contribute as a back-up 3. But we need a back-up C because we lost out on Camby and I'm reading that they're now packaging The Landlord with Lopez.

I'm not too worried with the bench. We'll sign up a few D-Leagues to minimum contracts. Maybe we'll find another Green out there just like last year.

Can't really blame the guy. He just wants job security. I think 3 years na yan na lagi one year contract. Maski naman sinong NBA starter eh maghahanap ng job security.

Although it would really suck for us if he'll kill the trade. But I trust in BK to find someone who's willing to offer Hump a four year deal.

Immediate need are a couple of bigs. Thornton may be given the chance at the PF spot. He's a former lottery pick who's doing good in the summer league practices. Foote may be signed. Not really excited about him. But if you have Howard, you just need a guy who can grab a few boards in 5-10 minutes that Howard is out.

I have a feeling that Toko will be in the line-up. He plays SF but I feel that he can play PF if really needed since he's a solid 6'9. Morrison may be given the chance as well.

Reggie Evans could back up D-Ho since he is a solid rebounder , undersized nga lang. and Hedo could slide into PF position. rotation nalang sina JJ, J-Rich and Crash sa SG/SF positions. Duhoin could play SG also.
