If the scratch is not deep, a good machine buffing from any carwash service will do the trick. If deep, then you'll have to have it painted from a paint shop near you.
thank you for the reply. sorry for another noob question but how do i know if it's deep or shallow?
i'll be in pasig today and am thinking of passing by big bert's. i've read a lot of raves about the place. can they help me with my problem?
Big Bert's is a popular car detailer. I'm sure they have encountered scratches and how to deal with them. If you run your fingernails on the shallow scratch, you can't usually feel it. It looks like someone just drew a line on it. For the deeper scratch, you can feel the line with your fingernails.
nyahahaha lagot ka
pero buffing lang yan kung hindi naman masyado malalim
went to big bert's last saturday and they were really helpful. most of the scratches were "removed" but sadly some of the scratches were medyo deep to remedy by wax or buffing. ok lang, at least 'di na halata.
good day.
@my2cents of course i would own up to what i did. ayaw ko lang na "in-your-face" halata yung scratches. hindi ata maganda na yun agad-agad makita niya. hehe
@eventide they have three branches: sucat, home depot ortigas and cubao(?) i went to big bert's in sucat kasi that was nearer (pasig trip didn't push through). pagka-park ko i asked them na what i can do to hide the scratches. didn't really hear everything the guy said. something "per panel" stuff. i wanted to avail sana of the wash + double wax service (P750) pero they said the procedure would take hours eh they were closing at 7pm (i came around 6-630). carwash + that thing they did to hide the scratches cost me P200 lang.
