    Law or MBA?

Which do you prefer after passing the board exam?

    Taking Masters or taking Law?

Natanong ko lang coz eventually magiging dilemma ko rin ito. (Think positive! Papasa ako ng board!)

    Depende sa career path mo...

I believe some Master program requires that you have a stint <preferably two years or more> in the corporate.

But I beleieve you should focus your energy first with your current undertaking so as not to confuse your brain celss with irrelevant musings on daily basis. Just cross the bridge when you get there, if you catch my drift. Just my two cents.

Board Exam first wag muna mag isip nyan mafrufrustrate ka lang lalo pag hindi ka nakapasa ng board exam.

Pag nakapasa ka sa board exam, para saakin LAW. Ok maging CPA Lawyer

well it depends nalang siguro kung saan ka masaya.. now, if you don't know what makes you happy try weight possible benefits and consequences of the career paths. Say for example.. ano yung Pros and Cons pag nag MBA ka or nag law ka Most importantly, where do you see yourself

Kapag graduate ka ng BSA tapos magtutuloy ka ng law pag enroll mo freshman ka ba ulit?

  9. #9
Yes it is another 4yr degree unlike sa graduate school, it usually takes 2years or 1 yr or less depending to what masters you choose.

TS^^, siguro po depende po yan sa gusto mo talaga at sa balak mong tahaking career path ako po kasi dream ko maging lawyer at syempre dream ko rin makpagtke ng master's degree para kasi uhaw ka sa edukasyon.

Focus on your current review first.
Then, assuming you are an October passer, work first. June pa naman ang pasukan. Explore and learn. Then, decide.

Actually I am considering that as well.. Peru parang nakapag isip ako sa last line ni Nicolas ------> where do you see yourself... parang nagregister agad sa utak ko yun tipong debate kaya malamang Law ako haha! Thanks Nicolas for that brilliant advice.

Ilang years' worth of experience nga pala kailangan bago ka makapag-apply sa MBA program?

Also, is it true that you will be promoted more quickly and reap bigger benefits once you have a MBA degree?

  18. #18
On Law at LaSalle: You may be talking about DLSU-FEU JD-MBA program. The newly established DLSU CoL confers solely JD only, though.

On MBA: It depends on what school you'll be applying in. Standard though is two years, ifirir.

On promotion: Still based on your performance. It's an advantage but never the only basis.
