You can VOTE online for American Idol even if you're not in the U.S. Just do this go to http://proxy.org and select on the right one of the proxy servers. It will make your computer looks like it's in the United States. After you select one of the 3000 plus proxy servers, a new window will appear with "enter url" in the middle of the page.

Enter http://whatismyipaddress.com there to know your new location in the United States. It should tell you the city and state. If it's in the United States, you're set. Now go back to the proxy server page with "enter url" and enter http://americanidol.com/vote Now you can VOTE on American Idol.

Important Note: American Idol will only take 50 online votes for each proxy server. Make sure you all don't use the same proxy server.

for those who are interested to join us in voting Jessica Sanchez, here are some helpful tips for you...

these points are from the official forum of jessica sanchez in the show's website I will just add some other points to consider:


General

1. You don’t have to watch the American Idol show to vote you just need to have the A&T text, code, call-in number, or link to online voting from www.americanidol.com/vote/

Note: this website filters US servers so we are not able to vote here... in the fb application, there is no filter...

2. 50 votes is not a lot, 500 is reasonable since people who think they did 500 oftentimes only did 200. Everyone should try to set a progressive goal and stick to it. Then add 30 more just to be safe. So like 500 for next week, 600 for the following, etc.


3. Text voting with AT&T texting seems to be the quickest and most efficient method of voting. Walgeens, Target, Walmart, CVS have AT&T go phones for $10-$25 that should have enough credits for a month. Everyone should plan to buy one especially in May to set up for finale. (If Jessica moves forward). Philip Phillips fan base has been using these phones a lot.


4. If your calling in busy signals does not mean give up. It means switch to online and then go back to calling in. Don’t ever think this mean that Jessica is ok with votes.


5. Voting numbers are posted on www.americanidol.com and on twitter by @4JessicaSanchez, @JSanchezFanClub, @Vote4Jessica, @Akazukincha15 @ThiaMegiaFanClub and others.

Note: Setting up a twitter LIST for all Jessica Sanchez contacts on twitter is a good way to get all current happenings

6. Splitting votes (ie, voting for other contestants in addition to Jessica) has to stop since you are in effect canceling one vote for Jessica for every vote submitted for another contestant.

Think about how you would feel if Jessica ended up like Colton and got voted off American Idol and you did not give voting your all. Would that not be terrible? This is a chance to break the WGWG (White Guy With a Guitar) pattern and support a future superstar.

5) Go back to step 2 and repeat






Note: you can give only 50 votes, so recruit more fb users all over the world so we can save Inday. Take note also the "https". We can vote online from 10 am to 5 pm here in the Philippines so there is a long time to promote...

3. Call-in voting

b. For Skype users, just download skype, then make your own account (make 2-5 accounts, there will be a case that skype will block you from dialing phone calls due to we are bulk voting). As you log in, click call phone then dial inday's number (1866743657XX).
TIP: SAVE all AI numbers from 01 to 12 just like this


Another TIP: because there are two numbers, we can group the two numbers of Inday by clicking create group,this will double our votes.
In case she is in TOP 3 to finale, we can group 3 to 4 numbers of her...

c. As you call, after you hear “Thank you” hang up and hit redial. Doing this increases you voting by 40%.

d. Dial Idol and other statistical analysis are based on busy signals and other factors and are just educated guesses. They should not impact your voting effort. ie, on the east coast look at them after midnight after completion of calling in and voting.

e. We can also use Globe7 but take note about the balance. For new accounts there is an initial balance of $0.02 so we can call for toll-free landlines, without those balance you cannot call. Download Globe7 and make an account. This can vote only once at a time but it can give unlimited votes to our favorite.

Note: Globe7 can vote during East Coast voting time (10 am to 12 pm PHT) while Skype can vote during West Coast time (1 pm to 3 pm).

With her big voice, and our Wednesday night votes, at this writing, Hollie finds herself as one of only 5 contestants left standing.

“Thank you to everyone who has been voting for Hollie,” says big brother Luke, “She wouldn’t be where she is without you!”

At this stage in the competition, our commitment to continue voting for Hollie is more important than ever.

“Now is the time that voting is the most crucial,” says Luke, “It’s anyone’s game.”

Voting takes place immediately following the Wednesday night performance, and continues for two hours after the close of the show. Each week, contestants are given a toll-free number for viewers to call at the conclusion of the show. Viewers with an AT&T texting plan may also vote via text. Either of these options allows voters to cast an unlimited number of votes during the two hour window following the show in their time zone. American Idol also allows viewers to cast up to 50 votes online.


“If you sent in 1 vote last week,” suggests Luke, “vote 5 times this week.”

Other ways Hollie-pops can see Hollie all the way to the title of American Idol are:

• Phone A Friend – Remember the commercial that encouraged you to tell 2 friends, and then they tell 2 friends and so on and so on? Ask your friends, neighbors, and co-workers to join the fun and vote with you. Make it easy for them by posting Hollie’s number to your facebook, twitter, and other social media accounts. Send a quick reminder text, or give them a quick call. Be creative, have fun, and encourage your people to do likewise.

• Be A Homer – If you’re like me, you love Skylar, and Josh might make you cry, and you giggle like a school girl when P2 flashes those sexy dimples and sideways grin, but at the end of the day, our hearts and our votes belong to Hollie. Vote for Hollie, Early, Often and Always. Vote splitting doesn’t do any favors for either of your faves.

• Commit – Voting is open from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Let your fingers do the walking over and over and over again.

• Tag Team – How many phones and computers do you have? One woman told me of how she votes on her cell phone, while casting online votes with her iPad. Another McKinney family makes a game of who can vote the most, the fastest, the longest using, iPads, laptops, and landlines.

• Skype – Speaking of internet, consider using an internet based service like Skype to cast your votes.
