Umaabot na sa 1000-1500 ang gagastusin per unit. What can you say about it? How can we say that UP is home of isko and iska if they are paying like or more than what other students from private school are paying?

old issue, 2007 pa to, huli ka na. mga incoming freshman ng 2012 ang pang-6 na batch na ang tuition fee ay ganyan.

marami ng debate at protesta ang naganap tungkol dito. imo, nakakasawa na rin paminsan-minsan pag-usapan ang TOFI. hindi ka pa nagte-take ng UPCAT so medyo wala ka pa sigurong alam tungkol sa isyung to.

advice ko na lang sayo for now ay alamin mo muna kung BAKIT na-implement ang TOFI.
you can find answers sa internet, nagkalat lang mga yan. isearch mo lang yung UP at TOFI. tinatamad na ko sumagot/sabaw pa ako ngayon.

May subsidy pa din ang gobyerno. Alamin mo kung magkano bayad sa Ateneo at La Salle bago mo sabihing pareho ang bayad.

I am aware of that. But if you're going to compare UP with private schools, you should at least compare it to the ones worth comparing it to, hence Ateneo and La Salle. Would you mind citing private schools which have the same tuition as UP?

Years before, 300 na yung tuition(per unit) sa UP.
Up until 2007, hindi na na-adjust for inflation yung 300. Tapos!
