Thumbs down News Update: Molotov Cocktail Bombs Preparation Confirmed

Source: DZMM with Ted Failon just 5 minutes ago.

Leftist Congressman Teddy Casino, defends violent activists "defending" demolition of illegal market stalls. Please remember not to vote for Teddy Casino of Bayan Muna again.

Very similar to our questions regarding Muslim violence in the Philippines, where and how did they get those bombs?

    Confirmed:
    1. Molotov Cocktails delivered and prepared for use.
    2. Rocks prepared.
    3. Activist "defenders" destroyed vehicles even of bystanders and media.

- Ted Failon. No thank you Ted Casino.

Why dont Teddy and Eta lead the demolition, maybe they can do it peacefully. .

I pity these poor people, especially the elderly and the children, parang if they were my parents or my kids, I cant even bare the thought.

I hope the anti RH bill people especially these prolife (kuno) and religious groups are happy with what they're seeing, ito naman ang gusto nila, di ba?

so long there's a population-poverty related concern, overpopulation, whether in the national/social or family unit level, would always be a factor to consider.

and my comment din naman ako sa pangingialam ni Teddy and Eta, so di naman purely RH ang comment ko.

our rampant population growth figures in a lot of our problems regarding poverty. that's why many have pointed it out as a lynchpin. squatters squat because they have nowhere else to live in the city, after all.

Props to the squatters' bravery in the face of overwhelming force. We could use that spunk in Scarborough Shoal.

IIRC, they were given 10 days notice before the demolition. Lots of time to prepare their 'defenses'.

Molotov cocktails are easy enough to make at home. You just need an empty bottle, a piece of cloth and some flammable liquid like kerosene.

And yung little bombs na tinatawag na 'pillbox', you can assemble with some leftover firecrackers and packaged with shrapnel (like rusty nails).

(Note: Never try making bombs at home kids. It's never safe ).

I think RH bill is not the answer for this squatters. Squatting will still prolifirate despite having RH bill, political will is the answer.

So anong development ang itatayo diyan ng SM? Red Residences?

Susuonod diyan ang yung mga squatters alongside Pasig River since many developments are now in queue in such areas.

nasa responsibility naman nila yung ganyang situations eh (like squatting, living in someone else's land, etc.) matagal na silang wala diyan if they left the area and informed days before the "demolition" but sadly matigas ang ulo nila. di umalis, kaya ayun, demolished yung establishment. tanong nila kung saan sila titira for the meantime, pero dapat yung government they should give these affected people a temporary (or better) relocation site.

    1. Abolish the squatter law.
    2. Don't baby the squatters.
    3. Pass the RH Bill.
    4. Vote only the best for our public offices.

    Problem solved!... almost.

our company tried to help these people through GK tapos gawing bahay-bakasyonan lang ang mga binigay na bahay at lupa sa kanila? di pa rin sila umalis sa kanilang pinag-iskwatan, to and fro lang sila, balik sa squatters area during weekdays tapos GK vacation house on weekends yung iba, pinarentahan pa nila

    mai gawd! nakakabwiset lang!
