kung wala yung aircon nyo ng ganitong feature at mahilig kayo magkuting-ting...relay, wires and outlet are all you need.

Nakaecono mode ako, pero minsan binubuksan ko ulit aircon dahil mainit na naman sa kwarto. Maghapon ang tulog ko kasi GY shift ako. Last week nagsurvey yung meralco sa subdivision namin, yung mga luma na yung aircon inadvise nila na bumili ng bago para daw mas energy efficient.

Ako naman tinarayan ko na lang yung taga-meralco dahil on time naman kami magbayad at pati nga lighting namin LED bulbs pa para less energy consumption, sana naman yung pag-gamit namin ng aircon sa summer huwag na nilang pakelaman.

anong brand yang gamit mo? cd-r king din ba yan?

A no, not CDRKing. I can't remember at the moment but it's a digital timer from Ace HW. I think it's the only brand they carry na digital.

sa tingin ko hindi effective yung powersaver na yan. dati natetemp akong bumili nyan pero upon further research, ang ginagawa lang nyang powersaver ay to correct the power factor of an inductive load gaya ng motor operated appliances. the current will go down saving the wires for further heating but not your electricity bill. the real power which is measured in Watt was fix and this device only corrects the reactive power measured in VAR. it only saves the transformer that was used in the system and the wires.

guess what's the name of our meter? its watt-hour meter! meaning, it only measures the real power consumption regardless of what is your reactive power.

Very well explained sir profibus! People mistake that the meters measure "apparent power" (volt-amperes) when in fact and as you have explained very thoroughly, it is "real power or active power" (watts). If we were being billed for the "apparent power" then these power saving devices will indeed save us money since reactive power is a significant portion of apparent power formula. But since we are paying for the "wattage" only then these devices are not going to reduce anyone's bill.

Maaga ko binubuksan yung aircon namin, bali natutulog ako ng 4am so 1 am palang nakabukas na. Then pag nagising ako sa tanghali bubuksan ko ulit, usually mga 4pm ko na pinapatay.

wag lang lalabas agad ng kwarto kasi ang init sa balat hehehe
