Sobrang init ngayong summer!
Gaano katagal naka-on yung aircon niyo? Nagtitipid pa rin ba kayo o buong araw na naka-on yung aircon?

I sleep fairly late (1am), I set our a/c to about 2 hours into the rest of the night. The afternoon usage is different, it varies anywhere between 2 hours to 4 hours :-/
I'm actually considering get our windows tinted na!
Electric fan turns on whenever the A/C turns off. Pero need pa yun ng 3rd gadget. Hindi kasi pwedeng iwan na nakabukas ang fan kung wala namang taong gagamit ng A/C during office/school hours. I think kaya ko yata yan. Thanks for the idea mommy!
actually it's a known technology na minsan incorporated na sa aircon models like this http://www.ccac.com.ph/brands/carrier/CarrieriCool.asp
•Econo Mode - when used with the Energy Saving Plug, the electric fan turns ON once desired room temperature is reached.
•Cycle Timer – one touch button to turn the unit ON and OFF at regular intervals. Saves up to 40% in energy costs when used with the Energy Saving Plug
kung wala yung aircon nyo ng ganitong feature at mahilig kayo magkuting-ting...relay, wires and outlet are all you need.
kung may timer aircon mo, pwede mong iPartner independent timer na pwedeng magOn depende sa set time mo gaya nitong product na 'to http://www.cdrking.com/index.php?mod...12334&main=141 or http://www.cdrking.com/index.php?mod...12317&main=158.
Etong independent timer actually is the only option for those that don't have their A/Cs plugged into a wall socket.
Pero natatakot ako minsan sa mga timer na yan ... I have one that I bought from Ace and umiinit siya, di naman hot na nakakapaso pero a little too warm for me. Eh di bale nalang baka masunugan pa ako.
During sleeptime lang nakaon yung aircon namin sa room
bale 11pm to 8 am everyday (though it varies)
Then since my room does not have aircon, and since nightshifter ako, i sleep sa room ko from 7am -1 pm (it varies) and last week almost naging routine na magising ako nang hapon, (1-2pm) dahil sa sobrang init then I go to the other room to sleep again until until 4, so basically it ranges from more than 10 hours to less than 15 hours.
Ayun 6k monthly electric bill namin, hehe
2 aircon ang nakabukas sa amin, dahil sobrang init, di kaya ng electric fan. ang reason naman namin, enjoy what nature gives it to you heheheh.
basta handa ka naman sa enormous aircon bills...... reminds me of electric saving devices sold in hardware shops in malls such as ace.... are they really worth your money? Although they come as affordable as P2K or below
kamusta naman usage nyang powersaver? safe ba?
Actually safe naman sha, yung samin kasi sinasaksak lang sa outlet, kala ko nga dati doorbellI just don't know about the effect, kasi before our bill ranges from 5,5-5,8 k then nung nagexperiment parents ko na tanggalin un, 6,1k na *** bill namin, that's with the same usage
sa tingin ko hindi effective yung powersaver na yan. dati natetemp akong bumili nyan pero upon further research, ang ginagawa lang nyang powersaver ay to correct the power factor of an inductive load gaya ng motor operated appliances. the current will go down saving the wires for further heating but not your electricity bill. the real power which is measured in Watt was fix and this device only corrects the reactive power measured in VAR. it only saves the transformer that was used in the system and the wires.
guess what's the name of our meter? its watt-hour meter! meaning, it only measures the real power consumption regardless of what is your reactive power.
