I heard this sang over the radio today on my way to work. It was composed by one Billy Preston, and originally sang by Joe Crocker. I have heard this sang in many wedding ceremonies, so I thought that it was always a tribute to the beautiful bride. I learned today that the composer meant for this to be an offering to his mother, whom he loved so much. PJ, you can sing this so easily, and it might be one you can sing as a tribute to all mothers on Mothers' Day, or just for your Mom, on her birthday in June. Try it.
