PIK: Muling ni-launch ng Bench ang Gutz and Glory deo-cologne na ini-endorse ni Richard Gutierrez kamakalawa ng gabi sa SM Mall of Asia.

Sunud-sunod na ang launching ng mga bagong endorsements ng aktor. Meron pa siyang isang ma-laking endorsement na malapit na ring ipakilala kung saan isa ito sa mga advocacy niya sa larangan ng edukasyon.

Tamang-tama lang ito dahil malapit na ring simulan ang bagong drama series niya sa GMA 7 na Makapiling Kang Muli at meron pa siyang public affairs program na Pinoy Adventures.

PAK: Sinilebreyt ni Councilor Shalani Soledad-Romulo ang kanyang 32nd birthday na ginanap sa kanilang tahanan sa Valle Verde 3 kamakalawa rin ng gabi.

Dineklara na rin ni Shalani na tatakbo siya sa 2013 elections sa mas mataas na posisyon. Hindi pa niya masabi kung sa Congress, mayor, o vice mayor ng Valenzuela ang posisyon na tatakbuhan niya dahil last term na niya ’yun bilang konsehal.

BOOM: Galit si Aiza Seguerra nang nalaman niyang nagpa-interview ang dating karelasyon nito at manager na si Chen Sarte at pinag-usapan ang tungkol sa kanilang break-up.

Ayon kay Aiza, nung nakaraang October pa sila nag-break ni Chen at maayos ang kanilang paghihiwalay. Bakit ngayon lang ito nagpa-interview? Ang gusto sana niya maging pribado lang ang ganung bagay dahil kahit nung sila pa, hindi naman nila ito pinag-uusapan sa publiko.

Ano ang gustong palabasin ni Chen at nagsasalita pa siya ngayon sa media?

REORGANIZATION IN GMA ARTIST CENTER

AFTER Ida Henares resigned as its head, GMA Artist Center reorganized into several divisions. Talent development is now headed by Arsi Baltazar. PR and Events is under Jenny Donato. They’re still looking for someone to handle talent management, but for talent branding and imaging, GMA exec Annette Gozon Abrogar has hired a young brand manager from Unilever, Simon Ferrer, who they formally presented to the media.

Simon will be in charge of positioning GMA stars and he’d push not only the big stars but the rest of GMA’s 100 plus talents to become marketable commodities. He first made an internal audit of how viewers perceive GMA stars, what are their strengths and weaknesses in the competitive landscape of showbiz. He has now planned several branding strategies and he bared his plans for specific GMA properties in our meeting with him, but told us not to write about it yet. For starters, he’s focusing to improve the imaging of Aljur Abrenica, Alden Richards, Rocco Nacino, Bianca King, Kris Bernal and Rhian Ramos.

Simon is 28 years old. He graduated from La Salle in 2007 with a degree in psychology and advertising management. He worked with Unilever for five years before moving to GMA. In the next few months, we’ll see if his plans for GMA stars would really be effective in marketing them for ad agencies to get them as endorsers.

why focus only on these stars??? i think 60% of them lack the real effective acting talent. there are so many other deserving Kapuso stars. i won't name names na lang... but, only one obvious name - why Rhian Ramos? ayan na nga ba ang sinasabi ko that isinisingit pa rin ang nepotism culture and favoritism culture in the Kapuso network. when will they ever change??? don't tell me the hand of Ida Henares is still strongly maneuvering them.
