I do think he has at least a decent shot. But Bryan Cranston and Kelsey Grammer are really strong contenders. And maybe Jon Hamm.

He was nominated sa Globes but didn't win. I hope he would win sa Emmys.

I will be happy if any of these shows (if not all) will receive some Emmy love this year for any category:

    The Middle
    Happy Endings
    Once Upon a Time
    Revenge
    Last Man Standing
    Parenthood

  8. #8
i have a feeling na hanggang tech nods ang OUAT.

sa acting, i think may shot si Robert Carlyle sa Supp. Actor.

I have nothing against The Amazing Race.

Huwag sana ang TAR this year. Isang beses pa lang sila natatalo.

I have nothing against Jon Stewart and company, magpatalo naman sila.

Of the Showtime shows, I can see Joan Cusack getting nominated once again for Drama Guest Actress. But I want to see Emmy Rossum getting nominated soooooo badly for Lead Actress (Drama). Gurl deserves way more credit than what she's receiving right now. I mean, she can turn a simple bathroom mirror scene into a freaking tearjerker!

Happy Endings' Casey Wilson and Adam Pally have the strongest chances of sneaking in for the Supporting Actor/Actress races. Pero knowing that the MF people dominate these categories, odds are probably slim, unless Ed O' Neill finally decides to finally submit for Lead Actor in a Comedy then Adam might be able to sneak in.

Fringe's strongest candidate is John Noble for Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. Pero Season 4 has been having a good run throughout, so the voters might also finally give this show a nod for the Drama Series category. BUT then there's the critically-adored freshman show Revenge. AND THEN GAME OF THRONES HAPPENED. AND THEN THERE'S STILL MAD MEN. (Will expound on this later.)

Glee's only chance of seeing a nod is from Matt Bomer's guesting stint. Chances are very slim for the show getting in again into the Comedy Series race, as well as for the lead actor/actress and supporting actor/actress races. Also take into consideration that The Office isn't as strong as it used to be. Having said that, Parks and Recreation, Community, or Happy Endings are up for those slots in the Comedy Series race.

    [to be edited]

Nah, John Noble was outstanding since Season 1. Truth is, Emmy was not a big fan of Fantasy/Sci-Fi genre

HBO's new sitcoms "Girls" and "Veep" are getting a lot of rave reviews and buzz, so they might have a shot.

Curb Your Enthutiasm is also back in contention this year and one of their episode won the DGA early this year.

Louie is also in contention, nakapasok na si Louis C.K last year so baka madala nya ang series sa main categories

I think The Office will finally get snubbed since unfortunately the post-Carell season has been lackluster. 30 Rock will still be there though and Parks and Recreation hopefully.

Cloris Leachman is now in contention for Supporting Actress last year sa Guest Actress sya lumaban for Raising Hope. So Betty White and Lola Cloris Leachman will battle it out this year

Broadcast breakout sitcoms this season New Girl and 2 Broke Girls might sneak in a nomination for their lead actresses (isa lang sa 2 Broke Girls for sure) pero it's quite a long shot din since competitive ang category nila.

Don Cheadle is a likely nominee for Lead Actor for Showtime's House of Lies.

Sa Drama ang dami maglalaban pero never count out Mad Men, I think they're poised to win for a 5th straight year.

I have a feeling baka malaglag The Good Wife. There's a lot of new dramas na posible makakuha sa slot nito: Homeland, Justified, Boss and most likely Downton Abbey which was move na dito from Mini Series last year. Plus balik na rin sa laban ang Breaking Bad.

This is the final season of Hugh Laurie as House pero there's actually a chance na ma-snub sya for a nomination pero pwede rin for one last time eh ma-nominate pero I doubt he will win. He's the "Steve Carell" of the drama categories

The broadcast breakout dramas this year: Revenge, Once Upon a Time and Person of Interest are long shots for a series nod but they have a shot for an acting nod. Madeline Stowe for Revenge (IMO, Supporting sya dapat ilaban), Robert Carlyle for Once Upon a Time (very deserving if ever he gets a nod, and he plays two amazing characters na a good bet for a nod) and Michael Emerson for Person of Interest (the role is not as enigmatic as Ben in Lost but Emerson is just good).

Smash lost some buzz but the pilot episode is polished and well-produced so maybe a directing nod?

The Good Wife is still good contender for the acting categories both regulars and guest stars

If not for the cancellation of HBO's Luck I would say na lock na for a series nod yung show and also a sure win for Dustin Hoffman for Lead Actor but malabo na yan ngayon especially the scandal that surrounded the cancellation. Hoffman might still be nominated because of who he is as well as recent Oscar nominee Nick Nolte. But if I were HBO, ilaban na lang nila sa mini series/TV movie field yung Luck.

Malalaglag na rin siguro ang Dexter. Mad Men getting a fifth series win is still a huge possibility. But if last year were any indication, I think the Academy is ready to move on. Aside from that, there are other shows that have great buzz (Homeland, Downton Abbey, Game Of Thrones).

True. Matthew Perry and Michael J. Fox are strong contenders for a nomination.

Luck can't compete in the miniseries category. May ruling na about it.

"The Academy of Arts and Television Sciences won't allow Luck to compete in the miniseries category because finale of Luck was open-ended, based on the fact that a second season was expected. It didn't have a specific beginning, middle, and ending like the ATAS requires in the miniseries criteria." Source: http://www.tvtalkwithjwalk.com/2012/...ries-category/

Akala ko matatalo na sila last year pero nanalo pa din sila and they still pulled it off so I will never count them out. Pero if ever may tatalo sila baka Downton Abbey.

Aba may ganyang ruling pala sila. Pero anyway pasok talaga dyan yung American Horror Story Season 1, which given that it is quite popular, at least kahit papaano if manominate sila there will be interest sa Mini Series/TV Movie category na let's face it wala masyado pakialam ang general audience

Sa Reality-Competition category papasok na siguro ang The Voice this time around.

    3-peat for Jim Parsons!

NPH nom for supporting - comedy
Simon Helberg/Kunal Nayyar long shot for supporting
Mayim Bialik/Mellissa Rauch/Kaley Couco long shot for supporting, though parang may edge si Mayim

any of the 2 broke girls for lead actress. haha

Kung maka-root sa CBS wagas hahaha.
