Dahil may thread na tungkol sa mga 5.0, naisip ko noong Holy Week break na gumawa naman ng thread tungkol sa mga 1.0. Sana naman mas marami ang maibahagi ng mga tao dito, at sana, maka-inspire din sa mga estudyante pa.

Wag lang sana pasukan bigla ng grade inflation na hirit.

Nothing memorable, except yung uno. Bagets yung prof. Masaya naman yung class, may social experiment kami na ginawa.

Haha. Magaling ako dito! Yun lang ang masasabi ko. Gustong-gusto ko itong subject na 'to, kaya sinipagan ko talaga. Haha.

Na-bore ako sa class kasi medyo nakakaantok magturo si Sir, pero okay lang. Uno eh. Madami akong natutunan kahit patay na oras *** class time at yun nga, boring si Sir.

Math 11 - I attribute this to my extreme bitterness to my fail Math grades in high school, pero dahil halos review lang din ito ng high school math, ayun, medyo nag-excel. extremely nice din yung prof namin kahit hyperactive sya. tumutungtong sa table at times pero lagi kaming maraming bonus points from him.

BS 185 - applied community studies, nakuha ang uno dahil mabait ang prof ikaw ba naman ang magpabalik balik sa Brgy. UP Campus para mag-survey, mag-FGD, at gawin na yung program, deserve naman namin siguro yung uno

BS 190 - practicum sa isang human rights NGO. uno dahil mabait yung supervisor namin, kahit umabsent ako ng ilang araw dahil sa bulutong

Histo 1 - I liked how the course was handled. Di kasi masyado nagfocus sa dates and names, more on how key events and people affected history, and the culture of the Philippines. Love it. Haha.

Econ 11 - Wahahaha I loved econ, puro formula kasi na madali lang maintindihan at interpretation ng mga numbers. Nakakatuwa. Haha.

Science, Tech and Society (STS) - KAhit na medyo may pagkaboring dahil puro reporting lang, masaya gumawa ng report na interactive at interesting. Kasi naman. Siesta time itooo! Kelangan i-hyper ang mga tao!

Nursing 121.2 - Dahil patayan naman sa community nursing at sa community research namin, dapat lang nooo! Haha.

Master's Subjects:

Biostatistics 201 - Dahil masaya kasi ang statistics, minsan lang mali pagkakaturo. Fun kaya ang stat! Weee.

Clinical Epidemiology 218 - Ethics ethics ethics! In health research. Actually ang ethics din ay simple lang: just be humane. Think of what your action or inaction can do to other people. Fun din kausap ang mga doktor haha.

Biostatistics 213, Biostatistics 214 - Same as sa Bio201, masaya naman kasi ang stat kung tama ang pagkakaturo at iniintindi sya. Haha.

Epidemiology 297.1 - BUTI NAMAN SA LAST EPIDEMIOLOGY SUBJECT KO UNO AKO GAAH. Ito yung seminars, i.e., culminating Epidemiology Subject. Haha. Buti na lang! Wee.

Epidemiology 300 - Thesis. To follow. I-u-uno ko to! Hahaha.

Eng 12 - world lit so like ko to. ako din pinakamatanda sa class so palaging natatawag
for our final project, we had to make a presentation and since pabibo ang mga freshies ay gawa daw kami ng video presentation with shadow puppets. I ended up being the director, writer, cameraman, crew, puppeteer, in short, lahat. Buti na lang naimbento yung group evaluation.

Chem 1

First class ko sa UP. First time kong maka-uno. Before that ang goal ko lang naman eh maka-graduate sa UP. After the class, even though it's just a GE, I realized na I can aim for better things naman pala. It helped siguro na Chem was one of my strengths back in high school. It was a pleasant experience overall dahil competent din naman 'yung naghandle ng class.

Part of the requirements eh mag-report kami by groups about anything under the sun and relate it to chemistry. During the time, I was fascinated with the chemical reactions that fuel attraction and probably love so 'yun ang na-suggest ko. So ayun, it was a very cheesy topic to report on but we pulled it off.

First uno ko, hihi. Saya lang nung reporting/presentation namin, nag-enjoy ako e.

Geog 1 - actually unoable subject ito, pero akala ko talaga noon hindi ako makakauno dito kasi my exams were not quite too high compared to those of my classmates. Hindi rin ako nag-field trip at Geog Camp, kaya hindi ko talaga inaasahang mauuno ko ito. Ang bait ng prof ko, super. =))

Chem 16 - medyo weird, pero, yeah. Uhm, siguro dahil mahal ko talaga ang Chem at saka nag-enjoy ako sa subject na ito. ) (pero nagskyrocket pababa yung grade ko sa Chem 17 hahaha) Well, akala ko rin, nung binalik yung LE3 namin na hindi ko siya mauuno. Pero nahatak pataas ng lab points.

Humanities 1 - Tess Isidro
I've always loved reading and literature, so you could say that this was an easy 1.0. More than that, I loved the fact that she asked us to stage a play in this public high school as our finals. That was a very interesting and fulfilling experience - not just interacting with the kids, but also the whole process of staging a play (putting a script together, selecting music, making props), and of course, bonding with classmates. Good times.
