this. hindi ba parang candidate for naturalization na yung mga el habbib?

walang problema sakin magnaturalize as long as they have been a resident of the philippines for at least 10yrs. hindi pede yung mala-mark douthit ng smart gilas. i know that the move to naturalize him was because its a need we can't fill in with our local and fil-fors. pero sa football kasi, andaming pedeng maglaro dahil may galing naman. nawawalan lang kasi ng chances to suit up for the national team dahil sa palakasan system na yan (like what's happening with the barotac boys aka pilit brothers, specifically sila boy dapa, lolo gener at boss chippy na mga hindi pa daw laos).

  4. #24
Grabe naman 10yrs. Thank you na lang.

Definite no ako jan. Kaya nga National Football Team e.

Pero kung before of legal age pa, which is 18 dito, at kung considerable amount of years na ang pagstay niya dito sa pinas, OK lang.

Wag naman sana yung mga tipong nasa prime years nya tapos biglang ina-naturalize. Yung ibang mga players jan for the opporunity ang rason nila. Akala niyo lang siguro for the love of representing our country dahil ayaw ng pera, but karamihan dyan, opportunity seekers lang dahil di nila kayang makapasok sa national team ng bansa nila.

  6. #26

  9. #29

I'm okay for naturalized players as long as it is legal and thry are worth the place in the team

this is the lowest of the low racial post here in pex football thread. i bet this is coming from a cebuano "udong" from Davao or Cebu who until now doesnt produce any marquee player playing or have ever played in the national team before.

Sorry if I blew my bubble ha. Hindi ko mapigilan eh.

Not being racist or anything, pero what I wanna tell is that what could these "typical" players from Panay and Negros contribute? I'm OK for the younger players from there, pero talamak na kasi ang padri-padrino, bata-bata. Could the influence of the likes of Chippy, Araneta, Gener or Tats be sustained? May ibubuga pa ba sila?

That's why I support naturalized players for our NT, pero hindi pa sa ngayon. We need a mature system of football first before thinking of getting a foreigner being naturalized.

@kiatkiat: Salamat. Hahaha :roflmao:

@lozipop: Well, I'm your average kid from Davao who likes to sip durian cappuccino at Blugre Cafe on a regular basis, and loves watching football. 'Nuff said.

I'd say NO to naturalized players. Football in the PH is growing. We will soon have very good players that might make it to the bigger stages. We just need to wait and not rush climbing up in the football world.

  20. #40
I say yes on the condition that these naturalization candidates can really relate to the Philippines; i.e., they grew up here or have girlfriends or boyfriends here.
