just like to point out if ever those damn Faes exist in this world, i won't allow them to rule over me (a la Bo). we humans maybe lesser in their minds, but we can still annihillate all of them in just a push of a button. as Kenzi said, "we ride SUVs and dumped sewage on beautiful rivers, and blast whoever right on our path just to get a cheesebuger." luv that line indeed! even the witchy Norn was cowering with fear while listening to Kenzi utter those words, complete with a chainsaw for maximum effect.

bluedagger is right, honeyvang, Fae world is soo vast and encompassing that even they themselves are still in awe how they exist at all. frankly, i don't give a crap on this so called Fae myth, yes, it spiced Bo's journey to know her heritage and maybe fulfill her destiny, whatever the hell is that is all about. what really attracted me is the human relationships that resonates to us viewers. these uber-humanoids maybe supernaturally powerful still their traits paralleled that with us, humans. it's good that the shows creators didn't make all characters Fae in the series, they integrated a human dynamic to balance the flow of the show. as i've said before Lauren and Kenzi represents that dynamic, they are our proxies in the Fae world. which we make us root for Bo more, because despite her being powerful as a Fae, humans, in the person of Lauren and Kenzi grounds her. these two are her pillars in her road to Fae greatness (will she be the Fae Queen that will unite the Light and the Dark as has been prophesied? sorry, just a hunch, i was basing this on SuperBo's speech whenever she loses her shits. )

so, any news from Fae-land these days? i'm dying to see some promo pics for season 3, just one pic of Bo turning Superbad will do. please Showcase, have pity on us, we're suffering from Lost Girl drought.

tottally missing our girls (Bo, Kenzi and Lauren) soo bad! dang it! been reading fanfics non-stop just to cope with this hiatus. the fics are over the top at times, but still entertaining. love those ones with dark humor or a bit slapstick that you can't help but grin while reading them. sana the scenes this upcoming season will be like that for a change. i want to Kenzi to crack me up and i mean really crack me up until i have tears in my eyes from laughing. that role is relegated to her and her alone. although Bo and Lauren may quip a joke or two, but their delivery pales in comparison to Kenzi's, so writers, give it to us. we've been waiting for months for this.

i'm into sales, what about you, dear? from your previous posts, you're from Baguio ba? or i'm wrong again? anyway, hope to meet you this year when i have my annual vacay this Christmas season. same with bluedagger. i want to meet you guys! so that, you know, we can have a very LG-related convo or some mundane things we need to discuss.

just as i've said, been off for 3 days. Singapore was a tourist Mecca! they are really miles and miles from us in terms of progress. not to mention environmentally, they're soo up there! it's all GREEN wherever you go, i tell you. the city itself were surrounded by verdant forests. even the main roads, the're simply no space in between. lush greenery wherever you look, me as a Filipino was so envious. i've even finding myself cursing our politicians/goverment officials in my thoughts. i don't think we can catch up with them. sobrang layo na nila, hay, Pinas! airport na lang nila e ala na tayong binatbat!

hope i can visit the place again, maybe stay a bit longer to really enjoy the place. our sched was really hectic when we were there. buti na lang we find time to visit Sentosa Island. wherein Universal Studios Singapore was located. luv the place! feeling ko i'm a kid again even for a day.

what i want to visit is Canada. hopefully next year pag naayos na lahat papeles namin for our US petition. to be honest not keen on going to America, kasi nga down pa rin economy nila. kungdi lang dahil sa Lost Girl baka i-delay ko muna pagpunta dun. kaso mo my LG obsession bite me to the bone, US is my gateway to visit the land of the Canucks! well, it's all a dream as of now, sana nga Lost Girl will still be renewed up to 5 seasons pa. so that i have more time to stalk AS, KS and ZP!

so, what have you been doin' to cope with this excruciating hiatus? are you also into re-watching your fave epis like me? it can be repetitive, but satisfying at the same time. i appreciated the series more when i've started doing this lately. come to think of it, what if AS was not cast as Bo or ZP was not cast as Lauren? will it still be combustive as the BL chemistry as being played by AS/ZP? or will it bust? well, it's all moot now, for Showcase struck a gold on their tandem. they better take advantage of this more if they want to prolong the show. BD pairing will never be this popular. BL potency as a love pair was more appealing to all viewer demographic (gay, bi, lesbian, straight, etc.). it's a fact and will remain just that.

Cagayan de Oro, that's one place i haven't been to. the farthest place i've visited in Pinas was i think Cebu or was it Dumaguete? anyway, sana nga i have time to be visit Mindanao before i migrated sa states. haven't been to Davao also, are you currently staying in CDO or you're in Manila now? sige, we'll just PEX if ever we'll get to meet maybe end of this year.

btw, you haven't answered my question, what have you been doing to cope the Lost Girl drought? are you also reading the various LG blogs from the net? minsan that's what i have been doing, just for the simple reason of getting bits of info of the goings-on behind the LG shoots. of course there's Twitter to tittilate us more, you know, AS and ZP twitting each other as if in-character pa rin sila as Bo and Lauren. dang! luv those two, talaga! i wonder if they hang-out more after work. we know that AS is soo married with that Cooperman guy, and Zoie is mysteriously dating somebody else (my suspicion is that she's close with that Alex gal, gosh, i hope i'm wrong). there's even a rumour floating around that she's dating KHR, too! shockers! that would be totally ironic, di ba? Lauren getting up-close and personal with Dyson, gah! Finally! I’ve watched season 1 episodes 1-5 last night, and yeah, it sure doesn’t disappoint. Can I just say this? Kenzi is awesome!! Really awesome! I didn’t know she was a pickpocket. Good thing Bo’s got a heart of gold, saved her from that douche guy in the elevator. And Kenzi still had the sense to video the incident even in her drugged condition. Who does that?? Only Kenzi. I really like her character. She’s like the life of the show. I was laughing so hard I had to pause the show several times. I’d resume watching only when I got my laughter under control.

I think I understand now why Bo was drawn to Dyson. He was the one who guided her into the ins and outs of the fae world, giving her advices, helping her with her cases, healing her when needed. Of course for the last one, Bo isn’t the only one who benefits. He’s like the ambassador of the fae to her, the first fae she could trust. Just a question though, whenever Bo sucks the chi/energy from Dyson, I’m assuming it replenishes by itself, right? Because the last episode I watched, he was kind of hurting I think from all the healing going on.

It was funny when Lauren was ‘inspecting’ Bo and she just blurted out ‘You’re beautiful!’. Imagine your doctor saying that to you. Either it’s creepy or totally adorbs. I guess it’s only adorable if and only if the doctor looks like Zoie. I wasn’t aware that Bo was seeing, in a professional manner, Lauren for her shots. I thought it was a one-time thing. Several episodes went by that were Lauren-less, the suddenly Bo had to go see her?

Yup, Anna is married and I think Zoie is married as well, to a certain Alex. From what I’ve read, she’s the daughter of a director. However, I think they’re trying to keep a low profile about that.

By the way, I have to say this, wherever it is that they get their pizza, I'm not sure they should continue patronizing that store. The pizza looked tough, looked like a couple days old. Parang pag binato sayo, magkaka bruises ka talaga. Ok, just had to get it out of my system.

Haha, nice observations you got there, honeyvang! Yeah, Kenzi really is the life of the show. And I also agree that those things you stated were really some of the reasons why Bo was drawn to Dyson. That is partly why I don't really dislike the character that much. I think Dyson isn't really a despicable character and is somehow relatable too. Yeah, the chi or sexual energy really replenishes by itself. It just takes a little bit of time although if Bo uncontrollably and continuously sucks it out of a person, the person will inevitably die. But you'll get to learn later on that succubi are actually capable of sucking the chi or energy out of a person without killing them and are even capable of giving back the chi to the person or even transferring it to someone else.

Yeah, Lauren's comment was out of the blue and totally uncalled for. And that really can get weird and creepy but the way she said it and Lauren herself made it cute, flattering, and adorable. Yes, Lauren really wasn't in season 1 that much and was actually missing from several episodes. But Bo did go to her regularly, although offscreen, for her shots. And it was definitely not approved or officially authorized by the Ash. But you'll get to see later on again that the Ash did know of their secret meetings. Also, marami rin naman good-looking and adorable doctors sa paligid, you'll just have to keep your eyes open! Hopefully, in the near future, I'll be one of those doctors na rin (LOL, ang kapal lang ng mukha ko). Tapos I'll be like Lauren and ang magiging kulang na lang is my Bo. Just kidding.

Zoie being married, more so to that Alex girl, is a rumor that has been floating around for a while now, ever since her character Lauren became popular. But there are actually no certified proofs that it's true. Besides, it's not really my business and I don't really mind if that speculation were to be proven as true. I just wish the cast happiness in their careers and personal lives.

Well, we can definitely see that Bo and Kenzi order a lot from that pizza store so I guess their pizzas are good. Although in my opinion, the pizzas did look old nga. Baka it's the way the girls store or keep the pizzas in their place. Ang kalat kaya nila madalas sa gamit!

as of the pizza thing, those two (Bo and Kenzi) were eating a lot of that the entire season 1 and 2, and your obvs honeyvang was to soo true. maybe it was just a "prop pizza" not to be eaten at all.

on Bo's feeding on Dyson, there are episodes that after Bo chi-sucked him and leave him dizzy or something, i guess we can say that it's part of Bo's power as a Succubus. she drains her prey of their life force as food, since Dyson is Fae, he can at least stand the chi-sucking every now and then. but when Bo really unleash her hunger, she can really suck his life ending him looking like a prune, but with a happy smile on his face at least.

just keep on watching honeyvang, you'll learn a lot more of those Fae mythology BS in time.
it's confusing sometimes what kind of Fae or what power this Fae-creature of the week possesses, or what Fae laws are not to be violated or something. it's all mythology crap, from what i understand. don't understand a thing about those, still they make them interesting enough that we can only say, aha, yun pala yun! anyway, the writers are being paid so dapat lang nagre-research din sila, no!

Well, personally, I don't think the mythology on Lost Girl is crap or completely made up. If I remember correctly, some of the mythological creatures that appeared or were mentioned in the show are actually true or should I say, based on actual myths that are present in different cultures and societies all over the world. Dun nakuha nung writers yung ideas nila regarding the Fae universe, and I think I've also read about this somewhere too. But I do agree that the Fae universe, especially its mythology, can be quite confusing and complicated at times.

i didn't really mean it as crap, per se. wrong choice of word maybe. anyway, as long as they're entertaining me, they can write all these Fae mythology to their hearts content as long as they're telling a consistent, relatable storyline we humans can identify to. sometimes they're going overboard on this and often left us hanging. i hope season 3 will sort of 'redeem' the show, if not then i guess it will be bye-bye Lost Girl. and that will really make us sad.

Zoie being married is all speculations as of now. she's neither confirming nor denying that she's on a relationship, but the ring she's sporting during the pre-finale show was maybe a clue for us to accept that she's already unavailable.

anyway, that doesn't stop me from crushing on her. she can continue playing Lauren as adorkable and geeky as she like or she can just flip her gorgeous locks and we Doccubus fans will go bat crazy. :lol oh, Alex, whoever you are, i envy you. your girl is the total package, lucky you. i think i saw this gal's pic on the L Chat blog of Lost Girl. she posed beside Zoie, the lighting of the pic is a bit dark 'coz maybe it was shot at night, from what i assessed from her physically, she's cute. pretty enough to be a GF material. she's a brunette same with AS, but youngish, maybe the same age with Zoie.

as of the latest news from the LG set, from what i read from other blogs they're shooting the 7th episode na. based on KS tweets, set location was countryside. she's shooting that day with AS. and ooh, oo nga pala, there are photoshoots being done na rin. base naman yan sa tweets ni Rachel Skarsten (Tamsin), i think the whole cast is with her. i think eto na yung promo pics nila for season 3, i just hope they lessen the photoshop of this photos. the previous seasons promo pics are aesthetically bad. the girls' attractiveness was smudged with too much photoshopped. parang tingin mo tuloy si Anna ba yun? siguro naman Showcase has a budget na for this since the show is topping the ratings.

So Bo can give back/transfer the chi? What will happen to that person? More compelled to have sex?? Also, how come Dyson seems to have a more friendly camaraderie with Kenzi than Lauren? Is it because Kenzi is more whacky, more fun to be with? Although I don’t think that’s the main reason. There seems to be an enmity between the two. Dyson doesn’t appear to like working for the Ash while Lauren gave her life working for the Ash. Could that be it?

The guy in the scrub was average ok, the scene where Kenzi was trying to escape from the lab, when she had the foot soup. The others? Didn’t notice anyone else.. Hey, what do you mean that in the future you’ll be a doctor? Resident ka ba ngayon? That’s great! There’s something else to look forward to as well, meeting your Bo. Just try not to blurt out ‘You’re beautiful’ to any of your patients, especially if they’re commando. and more especially if you’re an OB.

I think Zoie’s married. She never confirmed but there was a picture of them together, although admittedly, that could have been anyone or just a friend. There were also tweets that kind of point to that direction and also the ring on her finger. But whatever, I’m ok with it. I don’t mind that she’s married. And you can still have your girl-crush on her. So what if she’s married huh! I’ve had crushes on married celebrities/athletes. Crush lang naman. Besides, it’s because of us that they have a show.

first, let's answer your first query on Bo's transferring her chi, yes, she can. she just learned to do this i think in one of the later episode of season 1. not sure which one, but 1.10 ata yun, anyway. she can do this by breathing life to those she chi-drained and return their life force. nope, not to be compelled to have sex or something at all. just like that, breathing/giving life again to the person she just chi-sucked.

as of why Kenzi is more bro-friendly to Dyson than Lauren, i guess you can say that she sees him as sort of a protector in a Fae-kind of way. we know that Bo kinda 'claimed' her as her 'human', so that Kenzi can go around freely, she feels that Dyson respects her as Bo's adoptive sister. although Dyson is knowned to have anymosity on humans generally, Kenzi seems to have won him over with her street-smarts antics and her unwavering loyalty to Bo. unlike Lauren which she rarely hangs-out with and in which she's a bit intimated of, you know, being educated and reserved, the complete opposite of her. she only get's to talk to her whenever she and Bo visited the Ash's lab for assistance on a case. but as you watched the later episodes of season 2, she will eventually warm-up to Lauren. realizing how important Dr. Hotpants to her BFF's life.

on ZP being married, well, if she really is what can i say, i guess i have to accept it na lang. you're right it won't deter me to crush on her more. it's just a crush, nothing biggie. as i've said she just continue playing Lauren awesomely, then, i'm all okay with that. the gal can just appear on our screen for 3 mins. and we will be all drooling (no offense Bo, we know you dig her, too).

how i wish we can finally see Lauren moving in with them in the crack shack this season 3. i mean the spoilers said that Bo will be making a romantic choice, all roads points to her choosing Lauren is a sure-thing unless the writers screw on us again. it would be a riot! Kenzi will go ballistic if ever Hotpants starts to 'sanitized' their humble abode.

what i want to see is at least let Doccubus have their love-fest for at least 3 to 4 episodes before shits hits the fan. the writers were very consistent in breaking the love teams so far, i don't see them not doing it again, all for the angst and additional plotline to the series. no complains from me, basta ba Bo and Lauren will be the END GAME of this show. they can throw all the drama they want to the storyline. Doccubus fans will be forgiving anyway.

If Bo gives back the chi of an unconscious person, that person will gain his life energy back and come back to life, although if she really wants that person to live, she must do it quick or as soon as possible. That was obviously implied in the body-switching episode (2x09). It just remains unknown how much time there is before this process loses its effectiveness. She's also capable of manipulating the chi and transferring it to another person when needed since it's clearly her thing. I think this is also shown in one of the episodes.

Yes, you're right. Dyson clearly has a different kind of relationship and treatment of Kenzi. It's not simply because of Kenzi's personality. At the start, Dyson strongly disliked Kenzi because she is human and he thought she was annoying and just asking for trouble. And although he still feels this way a bit, he has grown to appreciate her presence more over time. He understood the dynamic and regard Bo has for Kenzi and gained a lot more respect for Kenzi when they switched bodies in an episode. After that incident, he started to look at her in a different way and admired her inner strength and loyalty to the people she cares for. Kenzi also risked her life plenty of times for Bo and even Dyson, and that just added to his gained respect for the girl.

When it comes to Lauren, it's also a bit similar. At the start, Dyson clearly disliked her because she's human and was working and following the Ash's every order. It also didn't help that he saw that Bo had a thing for Lauren, especially since he had feelings for Bo too and was clearly a possessive person. However, later on, especially in the latter part of season 2, you'll get to see him open up and treat Lauren a bit more nicely. This is because of their newfound understanding of each other, since both of them really loved Bo and since both of them lost special people in their lives (Nadia and Ciara).

Nah, I still have a long way to go before I can officially call myself a doctor. But yeah, I'll keep in mind and try my best not to blurt out the same line to any of my future patients. And yeah, it's really okay lang naman to have crushes on people, even if they're already married. Them being married doesn't mean we can't appreciate them like that anymore. We just shouldn't let it turn into a creepy obsession, although real obsessed people don't really realize that they're already obsessed and being creepy.

Anyway, yeah. If Lauren ever moves in with them, the place is surely gonna be less messy. Besides, you'll get to see later on naman Lauren's place too. And by the looks of it, her place seems like a very organized and clean place. Exception lang nung nadepress siya because of Nadia's death that she stopped bothering about anything at all for a brief span of time.
