I bought them from previous owners, Manila Polo I acquired for around 1m, I bought bgc and highlands at around 300k each. I was told that each share now though is worth 500-600k.

Wow, Manila Polo current market value is 7.8M, bumaba pa yan kase last year 8.2M, and last last year it was 10M. 1M mo lang nabile? it doesn't add up.

About bgc are you referring to Baguio Country Club Shares? hindi pa bumaba ng 500k yan.

*** liar liar pants on fire

That's why I keep my Polo Club share in a safety deposit box. Which I bought from my father for 1m.
What else do you want to know? You want to know who sponsored me in Polo? Who my trainer at the gym is? How I like my Polo burger when i eat at the Sports Lounge? (medium rare.)
You want to know how much my BGC dues are? How much the annual Patronage fee is? HOw much the green fee is when I play golf? (its free, though the caddie fee is P300 plus tip.)
You want to know how much I tip the waiter when I eat at highlander steak house? ( 15 %, though tipping is discouraged. )

I have to agree with gUy^ here. You're only making yourself look bad and ill-mannered, peternato9, and since I'm assuming that's not what you want, you better stop trash-talking.

And yes, maybe both peternato9 and wayn3 can share with us their secrets or even just a few tips on how they were able to be so successful. Para matuto din kami.

yun naman pala hindi naman pala hard earn money ang savings mo, bigay ni papa!

And by selling to you the Polo Club share undervalued, you and your papa have just committed a crime, Tax Evasion.

As a responsible citizen of the Philippines it's my duty to report you to BIR.

I'm not trash talking I'm just asking and besides by buying his dad's Polo club shares way undervalued 1M it should have been 8M or above, he and his dad committed Tax Evasion. Doesn't that bother you at all?

I know this does not deserve a reply, but I will indulge you. I bought the Polo Club share for 1M in 1994.

I've always tried to learn from the success of others, as opposed to trying to bring them down because i'm envious of what they have achieved. You can say whatever you want really, but it will not change the fact that I have what I have, and you have what you have.

It's not nice to accuse someone of being a liar when you haven't even waited for that person to reply your inquiry.

As for tax evasion, yes it does bother me, but you have no proof. There could be a lot of reasons how he could have bought the Polo Club share for such a low price. Don't assume the worst.

I don't know how they documented the transfer of the Polo Club share, but it is possible for the father to have DONATED his Polo Club share to his son, in which case the transaction is subject to Donor's tax, not capital gains tax. The tax on an asset worth P10,000,000 is P1,004,000.00, and it is possible that the son paid for the taxes.

If this is indeed the way the transfer was done, no undervaluation was made. The transaction is legal and is not tax evasion.
