    Nang dahil sa La Salle...

    ...natuto ako mag-tali ng necktie.

    a blockmate showed me how to properly arrange my necktie during a report, and i haven't forgotten it ever since.

    what are the things that you have learned in la salle that are not your lessons? that, or maybe things that you did that you would not ever have thought of doing.

    I learned to break conventions <and subtly avoid the Discipline Officers consequently>;

    Learned to speak what's in my mind and not be intimidated by preofessors na nag-aalam alaman lang;

    Learned to value the 67-33 contribution;

    Learned that library exists;

    Learned not to screw Finance especially when your prof is an Atenean with a Master's degree from Darthmouth because he can give you a(n eyesore) grade. (Screw him!);

    Learned to be fair <we do, you pay bigtime>;

    Learned different part of the mass <Epiclesis is my favorite because it just rolls in my tongue... epiclesis>;

    Learned to spend my resources wisely <hyperinflationary ang commodities sa loob lol>;

    Learned to value of hardwork and sikuhan

    Learned to be proactive and be a leader;

    Dahil sa La Salle:

    may resume na ako.

    leanred how to dress formally, properly.

    kumapal mukha ko sa pagtatanong-tanong.

    Pex.

    Sanay na ako sa aircon, kahit gano kalamig.

    leanred how to survive classes na tuloy tuloy with only 10-minute breaks.

    Sanay na akong may constructions sa tabi tabi.

    Ang realizations ko was more after i graduated from La Salle especially when i worked in a very diverse environment. Things that i took for granted as a "given" and "normal" are actually privileges that not anybody get to experience.

    Na realize ko, La Salle is a melting pot of a lot of intelligent students. Kasi sa work ko, yung feeling ang galing galing na eh parang ordinary lang sa akin kasi mga kaklase ko nun, malayong magagaling pero hindi ma-feeling. Yes, hindi bobo mga lasalista. Ive worked with La Sallian Comp Sci and La Sallian Engineers. (i am CPA pala) and they deliver - consistently.

    During my stay in DLSU, the students i have interacted exude this silent confidence but remain low profile. Yung simple lang at cool. Somehow, it rubbed off on me. It carried me through sa trabaho ko ngayon. At saka, simple lang ang yabang, ha ha.

    And yes, kumapal mukha ko.
