Cool New dream SUV: Ford Explorer Ecoboost, Chevy Trailblazer or Hyundai StaFe

Guys, new mouth-watering SUV's are coming. You sure pre-read most of them. Which one would you prefer, and why? I'm leaning more on the Trailblazer.

Pero kung dadalhin sa atin yung Fort 2.5 variable turbo, toyota pa rin ako. Trailblazer is using a Daewoo sourced engine kaya medyo alanganin.

as per my calculation, the 2.0 ecoboost at 11kk/li. kahit gasolina has cheaper weekly fuel bill than my current 2.5 diesel 8km/li Fort. the playing field is quite even. pogi pa naman explorer.

    hintayin ko muna trailblazer hehehe

Konti lang daw difference ng FC ng Explorer 2.0 Ecoboost sa 3.5 V6 engine nito according sa mga motoring journalist sa US pati mga current owners nun. Realistic FC figures for Manila driving would be around 5.5 km/l to above 6 km/l, basta hindi aabot ng 6.6 km/l. Doon sa tsikot.com forums, we advocate future buyers to just go with the 3.5 V6 Explorer kasi 124k pesos lang difference with the 2.0 Ecoboost. Also to mention hindi maganda ang reviews ng 2.0 Ecoboost sa US ng both motoring journalists at current owners.

Just wait for the Trailblazer na lang. Mas maganda ang ride nun sa Montero Sport at Fortuner kasi independent 5 link rear suspension na yun. May Hill Start Assist at Hill Descent Control pa. Laki pa ng cargo area kahit nakataas 3rd row. I have pictures of the actual units in Thailand, hindi yun yung mga artist's rendering.

Santa Fe (Santa Fe Sport), the features are good, kaso it's still the same 2.2L 197 hp 440 Nm of torque R eVGT diesel from the current generation. The twin turbo 2.2L 225 hp 500 Nm of torque R eVGT diesel is reserved for the Long Wheel Base version of the Santa Fe (replacement of the Veracruz). And baka maliit lang ang legroom ng 3rd row pati cargo area kapag nakataas 3rd row seats.

Kailan po ba labas ng Trailblazer?

Judging from the pics I saw, matikas ang dating nun.

The Trailblazer will not use a Daewoo engine. The engines are made by VM Motori S.p.A of Italy specifically for the Colorado pick-up and the Trailblazer. VM Motori also made the diesel engine of the Captiva and Cruze.

Looks like trailblazer has all the materials. sana magdala rin sila ng 2.5 na auto trans. what remains now is to see it in person and test drive para mapalitan yung fort

Actually mas gatas ang pricing ng Chevy dito satin compared to for example thailand.

Tingnan mo nalang price ng Orlando then compare it to thailand same goes for colorado, less toys pa sa atin.

While Ford maintains an ok pricing naman like the Explorer na mahal naman talaga sa ibang bansa.

Explorer is not targeted towards budget conscious people, besides it's a gas

Yup, definitely agree on that pricing point sir. What i meant by gagatasan was yung ford taking advantage of the demand for the explorer. 6 months halos na waiting time, even if you can pay cash. Ipipilit nila in-house financing with an additional 200k+ for you to get a unit in a matter of days. i know it's up to them, pero bordering on greed na eh.. that's just me ha

I also agree on that. Taking advantage of the demand. Well habit din yan ng mitsu and toyota sa atin. imo

  21. #18
May mga dealers na may stock na ng Explorer pero loko din ang mga salesman nila at ginagatasan ang mga buyers lately..

Trailblazer?Malamang nasa 1.5M-1.9 Million Pesos yan..
