there, Level III Undergraduate programs, numerous COE and COD pero Award of Distinction lang for the whole univ? anyare DLSU?
wow, what in the living hell happened?
they got downgraded across the board.![]()
Seems you work from inside.
They should be more transparent when it come to these things. I honestly didn't know we lost the Level 4 accreditation. They were relatively quiet about this.
At least, can you give us an idea as to the plans of the admin to address said issues? at least, easing stakeholders that the problems are really being addressed.
baka naman naging level 3 dahil sa bulok na basketball team?
what a nice centennial year present from the paascu.![]()
This is definitely a cause of concern. We're falling behind our archrival, Ateneo, not only in UAAP basketball but, most importantly, in academics.
I hope the Administration does something about this. The gap between La Salle and Ateneo is getting wider and wider. I won't be surprised if even UST starts overtaking us if we don't do something quickly to reverse this alarming trend. Ateneo and La Salle can't be worthy rivals if we're falling way behind.

3. College of Engineering - 1 COE and 5 COD for DLSU none for Ateneo
4. College of Education - 1 COE for DLSU and none for Ateneo
5. College of Business - None for DLSU and 2 COE for Ateneo
6. College of Arts - None for DLSU and 5 COE for Ateneo
7. College of Economics - DLSU is COD, dont know for Ateneo. The only COE is UP (last release)
Ateneo is really good in humanities. 80s pa forte na nila ito. I am not suprise.
DLSU - Business - no COD or COE ? Did La Salle ever apply for this ?
Is that list for Ateneo even updated?
It's surprising that our PAASCU rating got downgraded. I think it was Br. Ricky who mentioned before that DLSU has become so adept in the bureaucratic details of the re-accreditation process, which is why we somehow lost our way with the more fundamental aspects.
Do you have details on the specific steps being done to address the PAASCU downgrade and other initiatives to examine the perceived decline in the University's overall quality? We could argue all day about the merits of surveys by THS-QS, Newsweek etc. However, it seems that no concrete solutions are being laid out. Rankings are just secondary, but is there a 3-year or a 5-year plan that is in place right now?
You have to concede that Fr. Nebres did an excellent job during his tenure as President of Ateneo. For a school that barely has any board exam and technical courses, ang galing.
What is alarming is that UST might even catch up on us. As most of you have probably noticed, UST's passing rate in the board exams have been skyrocketing and they have been doing so even with hundreds of examinees. Not only do they have a high passing rate, they top the darn thing.
Terrible management for La Salle. Yung academics parang basketball team lang rin. The school the resources, you have the players, but you don't have the right leader and the right system.
