Yup.
Here's an article:
Your cholesterol level changes throughout the day and is typically lowest when you awake in the morning. After you eat, your blood cholesterol level temporarily increases as your body absorbs fat from the food you have ingested. The more fat in the food you have eaten, the greater the level of increase in your blood cholesterol level. When you have your blood cholesterol level checked, you must abstain from eating or drinking anything but water for nine to 12 hours before the test to ensure that the reading is not influenced by food-related fluctuations.

^^^^ Nope ldl low. Triglycerides normal range.
I have a regular lipid profile(among other things) to monitor myself. I do notice that certain things like sesame oil seems to make my profile worse (when consumed in greater quantities) as compared to other fats. Wondering if it has something to do with its nature or processing. As far as I'm concerned. Eggs are safe. Still have to test other sources of fat.
Just had a 6 scrambled eggs with garlic. Yum. And black rice. Laced with olive oil mixed with garlic oil. Yum.
Cholesterol ratio is more important than total cholesterol to assess lipid profile accurately.
I like having eggs for breakfast but I couldn't imagine eating them the entire day. Probably I can if the eggs are cooked differently for each meal.
I prefer poached or hard-boiled.![]()
Ang liliit na ng mga binebentang itlog ngayon sa sari sari stores, kaya parang yung 6 eggs ay equivalent lang sa tatlo
^Dude, may nabibiling pack na sa grocery. I suggest you grab some yourself. Sobrang tagal ng shelf life ng itlog sa pagkakaalam ko.
sa palengke ka na lang bumili ng itlog. 4-5 pesos lang isa depende sa size.
It would be nice if some $#%@# would actually sell organic free range native stuff. Unfortunately, we are being robbed in the grocery. the prices are just exorbitant. You'd have to go to the distributors and even then, how sure are we that they really are organic free range...
I buy only free range chicken from bounty fresh. Way cheaper than magnolias. Free range chicken taste better and a lot leaner. Not sure about free range eggs though, it would certainly be more nutritious and delicious.
Free range eggs:
• 1/3 less cholesterol
• 1/4 less saturated fat
• 2/3 more vitamin A
• 2 times more omega-3 fatty acids
• 3 times more vitamin E
• 7 times more beta-carotene
• Free-range eggs simply taste better

True, it's hard to find organic food this days. Either it's pricy or it's just damn hard to find.
I found it. It's P10.50/pc from sulit.com. You can buy it from Greenhills Shopping Center Unimart, Makati Supermart - Alabang Town Center, and Rustans Supermarket.
May supplier na ko finally ng eggsI buy it for 75PHP per tray so that means 2.50PHP lang each.
^the egg must be smaller than average.
It must be. Can someone tell me how do organic eggs differ from most eggs? I mean in terms of preparations.
well usually the quality of the yolk is thicker compared to a similar breed. It's smaller, though size varies. The shells.. well... hmmm not sure. Ask google. heheheh I'ts been awhile since I've been buying that stuff. Too expensive.
^True and not really readily available. So I just want to know if it's worth buying trays of organic eggs.
