Every term last 14 weeks. in between terms, you guys have a week-long break at the least. Christmas breaks, being sandwiched between second and third term is about 2 weeks long while summer vacation around 3-4 weeks between April and May (1 buwan).

I'm not an orienter, but I'm from the team that handles the whole shindig!
If you're a little confused, the schedule of your FOP is according to the college you belong to.
Freshmen Orientation Program for SY 2012-2013
May 16 - SMIT, SMS, SDEAS, BASAP @ the Taft Campus, 8:30am-3pm
May 17 - SDA @ the SDA Campus, 8:30am-3pm
May 18 - SHRIM @ the Taft Campus, 8:30am-3pm
May 18 - Frosh Solidarity Night (I have yet to follow up on the venue. Wherever it is, it's gonna be AWESOME!)

speaking of FOP, yung orientors po ba according to our programs? I mean.. for example, kung MMA ka, MMA student din yung orientor? is that how it goes?

Unfortunately, no...It's a mix of people from different programs. However, you guys will be able to attend to another orientation to be conducted by the professors and deans from your respective course sometime early during the school year. They'll be able to fill you in better with the innings of your curriculum.

The orientors are a mixed group of student volunteers from all sorts of courses. We tried as much as possible to assign the orientors according to the programs of the freshmen they'll be orienting!
Rest assured that whether or not your orientor is from the same program as yours, he/she will answer any query you may have
