these clerics are no different from doctors, lawyers, engineers, carpenters- like everyone else in fact- who are prone to make mistakes and lapses in judgment.

no one is perfect, everyone is a sinner. and i'm sure the clerics realise that more than lay people. just because they are teachers of spirituality and morals do not automatically make them paragons of virtue.

the people who accord these "holy men" extra special respect and status, as beings above human error, are the ones setting themselves up for disappointment. people's expectations are unrealistically high.

that's why when the clerics fall, they fall hard.

so the priest has a stash of pron. psh. i bet majority of people in his church have them, too.

In the Philippines the problem is that our priests are still "babaero." There are lots of girls impregnated by priests.

Actually, I have seen this happen to a co-faculty of mine. During his class he was looking for a video file that supposedly showed actin-myosin sliding filament theory, eh ang lumabas was a downloaded porn clip ng manila exposed.

Its no secret that many common office workers download porn using their office laptops. Si Hayden Kho na lang, sa laptop ng bello clinic pa nilagay mga sex vids nya. Kaya nga ako I have a separate PC for work and for personal use, and iba din pang presentation. So why would it be too difficult to believe that priests are susceptible to such acts?

Pwede sila uminom (at mga chivas regal paborito ng mga yan). Pwede manigarilyo. Pwede din gumamit ng mamahaling laptop at cellphone na di pa sila mismo nagbabayad. Ang almusal nila, laging imported na kape, cereals, at ham. Pwede pang kumubra sa PCSO ng montero para birthday gift. Asan ang vow of poverty dun? If thats poverty, then nagpari na lang din sana ako.

Ang mga buddhist monks makikita mong talagang hinihiwalay nila sarili nila sa earthly things. Bawal sa kanila kahit na anong bisyo, at sobrang maprotina na pagkain. Kasi this things daw will only lead to much temptation.

O sige, to be fair me mga madre sas order ni Mother Theresa dedicated talaga sila sa christian teachings. Wala ako reklamo sa kanila.
