Hindi ko naman po sinabi tinank nila yung buong season like other teams, piling games lang IMHO like yung last game to get a better chance at landing the top pick which worked out for them. I also thing they overachieved with the lineup that they had even with a 21 win season.

todo todo swerte ng NOLA eh, bagong owner, stay-put pa yung team tapos ngayon no.1 pick kawawa bobcats haha. and sa raptors gusto ko sana yung first pick para back to relevance naman sila. Di bale, next year nalang haha

Stern vetoed the Cp3 trade, tapos sa NOLA pala mapuputa ang first pick. Poor Bobcats.

To be quite honest, I'm surprised the Bobcats have yet to win the lottery. Stern owes MJ for what His Airness did for the sport.

LOL TO THOSE WHO THOUGHT THE BOBCATS TANKED.

They just sucked so hard. If anything, it's obvious that they were trying to win to save themselves from finishing the worst record in NBA HISTORY.

    WORD!

Plus, it would've been a great storyline if the Bobcats got the first overall pick.

    - MJ and Davis both wears #23.
    - Charlotte had a 23-game losing streak.
    - Anthony Davis was born in Chicago.
    - Davis plays in Jordans.

It's a great day to be the New Orleans GM. 1st and 10th pick?

  12. #92
LeBron leaves Cleveland = Cavs get #1 Pick
CP3 gets traded = NO gets #1 Pick

When Dwight leaves Orlando, you can bet Stern will gift them with the #1 pick.

When the balls went in NOH favor I guess the correct thing to do was redo the lottery.

    Right guys?

toronto's willing to trade their 8th pick. this might be the best time to put Boozer to good use.

Honestly, controversy generated by this issue shouldn't be seen as surprising at all. After all, NBA is still the current owner of the Hornets. (Ownership has yet to be formally transferred)

    Davis' family heartbroken over lottery

New Orleans Hornets fans may be pleased to hear reigning National Player of the Year Anthony Davis is almost certainly heading to the Big Easy, but it seems the young basketball star's mom is less than thrilled at the prospect.

The Hornets edged out the Charlotte Bobcats in Wednesday night's lottery to secure the number one pick in next month's NBA Draft.

But the result apparently dismayed the 19-year-old's mother, who had been hoping her boy — raised in Chicago — would land with Michael Jordan's Bobcats.

"A lot of disappointment inside my family," Davis said on "The Dan Patrick Show" Thursday. "My mom wanted me to go to Charlotte. A lot of guys are disappointed but they have to move on and make the best out of New Orleans."

Davis said he's raring to start his NBA career, regardless of what uniform he ends up wearing.

"If I do get drafted number one and go to New Orleans, I'll have a great time," he said. "I'll try to bring a championship to New Orleans. Hopefully we can do great things."

The former Kentucky star, said Wednesday night it was "karma" that he would end up starting his professional career in New Orleans where he led the Wildcats to a national title in April.

The 6ft 10in forward led Kentucky in virtually every statistical category last season as a freshman, including points, rebounds and blocked shots per game. He also led the team with a 62.3 field goal percentage.
