This already happened to Boston in 2007. They eventually traded their pick to the Seattle Sonics for Ray Allen.

Even if it happened again, teams will never stop tanking. Building through the draft is the easiest route for mid-to-small market teams.

Kaya let's all root for the Nets to get that number 1 pick. They battled all season long even with all the injuries.

    This.

The Bobcats did the right thing of dismantling their roster. With their previous lineup of Wallace, Jackson, Felton and Chandler, the farthest they can go is the first round. So they might as well rebuild from the ground up and take a chance to pick a superstar from the draft. And use the cap space to try to lure a marquee player in Charlotte.

The worst's teams pick landing to 2nd-4th pick happens too often. IIRC only 2 worst team got the first overall pick, magic and i forgot the other one.

Diba trade na ng nets sa Portland ang pick nila? unless protected

Protected from 1-3. If the Nets get lucky and get picks 1, 2 or 3, they keep the pick.

I wouldn't make any mock drafts until the draft order is established on Wednesday, #1 is given but the rest depends on team needs

Most mock drafts do not take team needs into consideration.

When asked about Charlotte, which has the highest percentage chance of winning the lottery at 25, Davis said the first thing he thinks about is owner Michael Jordan. Washington, which has a 19.9 percent chance, is the home of Wall, which was the first name he thought of in potentially going to the Wizards. Cleveland has the third highest percentage at 13.8 percent and yet Davis said he thinks about LeBron James, saying: "I know this is kind of weird, sorry Cleveland fans."New Orleans, which has the fourth highest chance of landing the No. 1 pick at 13.7 percent, has a special meaning to him(Anthony Davis) since that's the site of Kentucky's national championship.

I think they should keep Casey. D'Antoni sucks as a coach.
