Relatively quiet draft (figuratively speaking), not much trading happened. But boy, was it ever noisy in NJ! Stern kept hearing it from the crowd. It's amazing how reviled he's become.

I'd give the Blazers a B+. Damian Lillard was a solid pick at 6th, and he fills a desperate need that the team has. He could potentially be a solid pick-and-roll partner to LaMarcus that Felton never was. Harrison Barnes was the "best talent available" pick, but Batum and Matthews are already locked in on the wing positions so I'm ok with the Lillard pick.

What I'm not sold with is Meyers Leonard. I see him as a more agile and athletic Joel Przybilla, which isn't saying a lot. He looks extremely raw and unpolished, especially his offensive game. The Blazers staff have their work cut out for themselves - his footwork, back-to-the-basket offense, and post defense will need a lot of work. I hope he becomes the stud that some think he's capable of being.

I think Will Barton has the potential to be the sleeper pick in the 2nd round. He has a good jump shot and is probably the best rebounding guard in the entire draft. Portland isn't exactly stacked at the wings, and he'll slot in nicely with Jamal Crawford on his way out.

Btw, I didn't like the Zeller acquisition, but the Cavs management did say that they didn't want to bring in 4 ROOKIES to camp, so it was good that they traded the 33rd and 34th pick. Just not sure if Zeller is the perfect dude to get.

I like Waiters. I think he's gonna be a good player for the Cavs. I don't really see them "losing" in this draft. I'm sure they tried to trade down to get another asset while STILL acquiring Waiters. But it was rumored that GSW and Toronto ALSO wanted Waiters. Cavs WANTED him, so it was okay. They didn't need T-Rob.

Cavs were draft losers coz they didn't get the player they want which is beal, and they missed on robinson, barnes and drummond.

Knicks lost coz this is where they can get players or getting better without hurting their pockets, but still they put their faith on JLin.

What did you want the KNICKS TO DO? We had no PICK? We couldn't buy one cause we spent the $3m already to get rid of NBA Champion Ronny Turiaf as part of the deal to acquire Tyson Chandler. Before you could spend $3m as many times as you want to buy picks or add in as "CASH CONSIDERATIONS" in trades; now it's not possible.

Knicks had NOTHING to acquire a 1st round pick, and nothing to move up. If Toney Douglas had any sort of value, I'm sure Grunwald would've explored it. It just shows that we have no assets right now. The Knicks have no choice. I don't think we're really LOSERS of this draft. I'd agree if we had a pick, say the 17th pick, then decided to draft Scott Machado or any other undrafted peeps.

Simply put, Knicks had ONE pick (48th) and they decided to pick a guy that will NOT play for this season. Which means, more money to use on FREE AGENTS. That's where we'll find help.

I'm still putting my word MKG is the real deal in this draft. But i'm surprised he was picked by the Bobcats.
LOL! Not sure if serious about the Lakers. What would you expect at #55 and #60?

IMO, DJO is a steal at #55. That is if the Lakers sign him and Coach Brown will let him play. Not sure about Sacre though.

Excellent draft for my Warriors. I give them Grade: B+ to A- for this draft.

    • Full Name: Harrison Barnes
    • Position: Small Forward
    • Height/Weight: 6-8 / 215
    • Birthdate: May 30, 1992
    • College: North Carolina
    • Key statistics:
    17.1 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 1.1 apg, 2.2 tpg, 1.1 spg, 29.2 mpg, .440 FG, .358 3PT, .723 FT

    - If he went last year for the draft, he could be taken easily in the top 3. Former #1 Highschool kid in the nation. So we are really lucky to get this kid in #7. Analyst is saying that he is a better NBA player than a College player. I truly believe that he will be a good starting SF for my Warriors.

    • Full Name: Festus Ezeli
    • Position: Center
    • Height/Weight: 6-11 / 255
    • Birthdate: October 21, 1989
    • College: Vanderbilt
    • Key statistics:
    10.1 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 2.2 tpg, 2.0 bpg, 23.2 mpg, .539 FG, .604 FT

    - Strong center, rank #4 among all centers in the draft. A good defender, athletic, and can back up Andrew Bogut. Lost cause na si Biedrins. And he is a 2.0 Blocks per game player.

    • Full Name: Draymond Green
    • Position: Small Forward
    • Height/Weight: 6-7 / 230
    • Birthdate: March 4, 1990
    • College: Michigan State
    • Key statistics:
    16.2 ppg, 10.6 rpg, 3.8 apg, 3.0 tpg, 1.5 spg, 1.0 bpg, 33.2 mpg, .449 FG, .388 3PT, .811 FT

    - Actually he is a undersize PF. I can compare him to Brandon Bass. He can score inside and outside. He can shoot 3pts and really good in free throws with a .811 stats. Also he is a excellent rebounder with an average of 10.6 rpg which the warriors need help. Actually potential 1st round player that was taken on the 2nd round. Excellent pick as he can be inserted in PF if the warriors wants to go small in the lineup and move David Lee into Center.

    • Full Name: Ognjen Kuzmic
    • Position: Center
    • Height/Weight: 7-1 / 231
    • Birthdate: May 16, 1990
    • Club: Clinicas Rincon (Spain)
    • Key statistics:
    10.4 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 0.7 apg, 2.1 bpg, 24.5 mpg, .536 FG, .671 FT

    - Great size and length. Agile and mobile for his size. Moves well off the ball and fights for position. Uses physical advantage quite well. Good timing in blocking shots, disruptive on defense in the paint. Needs to add strength. Needs more work to become a reliable shooter away from the basket. Gets pushed around by powerful centers.

    Warriors lineup next year:

    C- Bogut/F. Ezeli/Biedrins/O. Kuzmic
    PF - D. Lee/J. Tyler/D. Green
    SF - R. Jefferson/D. Wright/H. Barnes
    SG - K. Thompson/B. Rush
    PG - S. Curry/C. Jenkins

Man! Sarap laruin ng Warriors ko sa NBA2K13 online.

Yup i used the Warriors online. If i ask my opponent not to used the Heat or Thunder nag-back out na sila pag kalaban nila ang Warriors ko. Hahaha kakatawa lang kasi puro lang magaling na team ang alam nilang gamitin. Marami namang puwede pang gamitin like Lakers, Celtics, Sixers, Spurs, Pacers, Grizzlies. Pero ayaw nila ... mga sore losers talaga.

I used Raptors, Pistons, Nuggets and Pacers playing online. I know 2k players get my point. Again, OffT.

haha bakit nagiging 2k thread 'to. Right now t'wolves ginagamit ko sarap gamitin ni rubio pati love kaso rumored na kukunin nila si gasol for d-williams. diba hindi na nila i-reresign si beasly wala na tuloy maganda sf sa wolves.

    OnT

failed trade on draft day but still negotiations are ongoing

The Minnesota Timberwolves, who intelligently want to add Pau Gasol's veteran presence to their young core of players, tried to swap last year's No. 2 overall pick, tweener forward Derrick Williams, to the Bobcats to get the pick and send it to the Lakers for Gasol.

I hope na magamit *** kinuha ng Lakers.. Baka ang gawin lang ay katulad nina Walton, Mbenga and others.. MAGBUTAS LANG NG BANGKO.

Was in class during the Draft. I fired up Twitter and first thing I saw was "Cleveland acquires Tyler Zeller for draft picks". Almost died of a heart attack

What's with all the hate for Dion Waiters? Has anyone here seen him play last season? I'm incredibly disappointed that the Cavs failed to land both Beal and MKG (FU Bobcats), but Waiters isn't as big a stretch as some of you make it up to be. I admit his floor is lower than that of Barnes, but his potential is way higher.

What bugs me about this draft pick are two things:
    1) Waiters never worked out, or interviewed, for the Cavs
    2) Chris Grant is the same person responsible for the Hawks drafting Marvin Williams at #2

Like most drafts, we still can't tell who made the right picks until we see the rookies with their teams. Four years ago, the OKC front office got a lot of crap for gambling on a player who wasn't even a starter during his two year stint in college; that kid is Russell Westbrook. I certainly hope Waiters lives up to his billing as a mini-Wade/Tyreke or else Kyrie might get Lebron'd in Cleveland.

To sum it up, I guess my wish for the Cavs not to draft Barnes or Drummond came true

I think Waiters got a promise from the Cavs that they'd pick him. Before the whole Rookie training sessions came about, it was rumored that a lotto pick team already had a private training with Waiters and promised to pick him. I believe it was the Cavs.

    Off Topic.

Just had a game against Heat 2k12 online. This guy has a Lebron xbox name. Down by 9 last 1min, Curry made 3 triples. Last possession Heat. Double team on Wade and left Lebron wide open. He missed and I won overtime Mas bwisit ako sa Thunder kaysa Heat. Zone Defense lang katapat ng Heat
