With the 2012 NCAA Men's Basketball Division I Tournament having been recently concluded with Kentucky emerging as the National Champions, it's safe to start talking about the upcoming NBA draft which will still be held at the Prudential Center in NJ.
This draft is considered as one of the deepest in recent memory. Became deeper when there were some freshmen of 2011 who looked to be one and dones declared for their sophomore season like Harrison Barnes, Jared Sullinger and Perry Jones III.
In 2011, it was Michael Kidd-Gilchrist projected to go as the first overall pick in this draft, then in the preseason it became Andre Drummond. Now for the whole NCAA season, it was Anthony Davis who proved to be the best looking prospect in the bunch. (Best looking as in talents. )
This draft isn't 10 man deep, not even 14 man deep but it looks like it's 30 man deep! Yup, the entire first round. Well, for sure there may be some possible busts and second round steals. But talent wise, this class has it.
This draft will be unpredictable, you'll never know where Rivers may land, where Moultrie will land, Marshall will land. All those are lottery picks that might slip due to the deepness of this draft.
I'm excited to watch this unveil. Discuss!
