i once was pulled over and the MMDA officer made up a violation which i quikly knew i did not commit. i refuse to take the ticket and told the officer that he is using his position to intimidate and harrass me and that for doing so, i will seek him out and find out where he and his family lives and we will see who has a better harrassment technque. i was so serious he gave me back my DL and said sige sige. i flicked him the finger and left. they are pradatory and if you have to stare them down and they will blink because they are nothing but cowards. try it.

MMDA lang pala eh. Try doing that to an armed traffic officer. Lalu na yung TMG.

^For me, it's much easier to speak to them in a proper manner and clarify what your violation is. If you can lead them to see that you know the traffic regulations, they will let you off. Problem we have here is that a lot of motorists do not know what the real road rules are so enforcers get away with inventing things like the classic "swerving" or turning right while the stoplight is red (and there's no sign to speak of, saying that you cannot do so while the light is red).

If diplomacy fails and you know that you're being conned, then that's when you bring out your cards and contacts.

    Correct!

  6. #26
your right, i should be more diplomatic. it is just that they upset me when they do that.

  7. #27

Makati pollution control operation february 09, 2013

Nahuli ako sa no parking zone somewhere in Guadalupe Makati.

yea. i have no sympathy for those j@ck@$$e$ if they get plowed by a truck or bus.

in fact the driver will be a hero ridding the streets of these dumb@$$e$ for a few days while they mourn for their fallen compadres.

I mean extreme traffic from Eastwood to C5 Kalayaan ang malupit nito ginagawa nila operation nila ng RUSH HOUR!!!

Nagreklamo kami sa Makati City Hall and we demanded them to explain why they're letting ASBU to conduct their operation during the morning rush hour and sacrificing everybody for the traffic, why in C5 and why target private vehicles (whereas pollution is caused mainly by PUV's like jeepneys).

Their email is OM@makati.gov.ph and Trunkline : (632) 870-1000, person to look for is REGIE or MARY BARBIN of mapsa, or better yet escalate it to JUNJUN BINAY...

The people conducting this test don't even know the proper procedure in conducting a snap test. We do not even know if their instruments are properly calibrated by an independent body. In fact, nag reklamo na ako diyan years ago, wala nangyari. It seems they will not stop this since they are earning a lot here, isipin mo na lang pag tubos mo, say 1k and how many are they apprehehnding in a day, I'm thinking, mahina na sa 300 vehicles. Eh hinid lang C5 yan, meron pa yan sa may magallanes and buendia dati. They would be getting at least 300k per day? Thats 6 miliion pesoses considering weekdays only. Unsolicited advice: kung may iba kayong choice huwag kayao dadaan sa oras na nadun sila and if hindi maiwasan, huwag niyo tigilan, that is what I do.
