some points why I won't choose to live in a condo:

    - masikip
    - walang room for expansion (unless bibilhin mo ang katabing unit)
    - poorly designed unit
    - pets are limited

points why I may choose to live in the condo

    - bayad ang swimming pool,
    - bayad ang gym
    - kind of secure sa akyat bahay

if I'm willing to shell out some cash, I'd go for a condo unit which is ergonomically designed and eco friendly.

for now, nay.... mas mura pa bumili ng lupa sa probinsya, malaki pa.

Which is different from other progressive cities. Mostly expats in HK and SG live in a landed house.

Just like what goat1230, madami kang isa-sacrifice sa condo which is unang una na ay yung space. Ergonomically and environmentally friendly pa. I'm pretty sure these illegal settlers also pay their monthly dues ranging from 2,000 to 5,000 pesos (not sure, sana may magbigay ng exact details).

If only the government fund a high-rise pabahay program instead of CCT, di maglalaon ay mawawala nang unti unti ang mga illegal settlers sa kamaynilaan.

    Magallanes Village (736 sqm) - Php45M
Bel Air Makati (560 sqm) - Php 65M

Juan, will you live in a condo? Yung sa mataas na mataas!

I'm generally acrophobic so living in very high floors of a condo is farthest from my mind.

But as a transient, yeah i've tried staying in it a few times. I can manage for as long as the glass fenestrations aren't floor to ceiling. There has to have some concrete blocking/wall in between it so i wouldn't see the view down.....and no balcony please.

We're living in a condo for 6 years.. at naisip isip ko mas gusto ko parin ang Lupa't bahay kesa sa condo..

They are built to sway when the ground shakes, sabi.

I always fantasize about condominium living. And at last, I made a reservation in the Zinnia Towers. Zinnia Towers is built by the leading residential developer in the Philippines, DMCI Homes.

    For the meantime, yes.*
I bought mine 5 years ago. It has a great view from the 26th floor. A swimming pool, bbq area, gazebos, mini football field, jogging path, luxurious reception area on the 5th flr.*

The 1st flr is the hotel inspired reception area adjacent to some*restos (Mann Hann, Sugarhouse, Yellowcab etc.), salon (FIX), Starbucks, grocery, banks, laundry service, H2O refilling station, remittance center, huge grocery/convenient store.

*I love the amenities and all and its location is just a stone throw away from a mall.*
The thing is, I rarely stay in it coz I find it small. I only stay for a couple of days or weeks just to have a swim and bbq party w/ my gf and our friends. The unit is not big enough to accommodate a small crowd for a drinking party, so the option is to do it on the 5th flr (pool area, gazebos, reception area).
You need to pay for monthly association fee.
There's not enough space if you want to add another furniture or an extra appliance.
The parking slot is too expensive so i scrapped the idea of having one.
It's only ideal for single guys/ ladies (like having your own hotel room )
Permit this, permit that from the Admin office should you want to renovate the unit or have something installed.
Gatepass should also be secured beforehand for any furniture/appliance deliveries which for me is time consuming (I'm such a lazy *** when it comes to paperworks or queuing in line).

I still prefer to have a contemporary California/ Balinese house design which I am saving up sometime in the future. A 2-car garage, a spacious kitchen, huge living room, man cave and several rooms.*

no. gusto ko tumira sa farm or a waterfront home. i'm used to city living but i'm willing to give it up for a peaceful home close to nature and far from the urban wilderness. yung maraming nature activities na kayang i-offer ng community like hiking trail, biking, camping, canoeing... kahit tipong sobrang mahal ng gas at kailangan bulto bulto ang pinamimiling grocery dahil malayo sa sibilisasyon. that works for me

Highrise residential (>50 meters), economically and ergonomically friendly. Mas madaming mabubuksang roadways and waterways at mas mababawasan ang lubhang pagbaha.
