Di ko na din mabilang sa mga daliri ko ang mga developers, nangunguna na diyan ang SMDC, MegaWorld, Ayala Land Inc. CPI, DMCI, Federal Land, RLC, Rockwell Land etc...and they all want to build vertical houses! Not to mention those small players. And if you see metro manila from the top, it's a like a huge and massive construction site. So I wouldn't be surprised that in 5-10 years time Metro Manila (and perhaps some major RP cities) will be filled with high-rises. In fact, our VP recently called for banning the construction of single detach homes in Metro Manila.
Questions:
Are we Pinoys ready to live in high-rise residentials? Let's say, 200-300 metres above the ground. No backyard, small cut sized flat, more congested environment, tighter security (bawal mag-inuman at mag-videoke sa hallway) etc...
Ano bang pros and cons pagnakatira ka sa flat?
Is it good to our economy? What about peace and order?
Do you think it's time for the government to drive their own high-rise pabahay for the masa?
You don't need to answer these questions one by one lol! Any thoughts regarding this matter will do.
