Devance status uncertain for Governors’ Cup because of knee injury

Apart from missing Marc Pingris who is out three weeks because of a fractured finger, the B-MEG Llamados could potentially be without the services of another key big man, Joe Devance, for a long stretch of time.

B-MEG coach Tim Cone told InterAKTV that Devance is suffering from bone spurs in his knee, a condition that makes it hard for him to bend and extend his leg. One option to alleviate the pain, according to Cone, is for Devance to go under the knife.

“We’ll know on Monday if he’ll get surgery,” said Cone, who added that the procedure would cause the versatile forward to miss the whole conference.

“They’re gonna have to shave off the bone on his knee, because it’s hitting up against ligaments and it’s gonna be very painful.”

Tama ka dyan regarding sa import natin, mukhang may ibubuga pa ito, ang pinagkaiba lang nila ni Bowles, yung mga unang games ni Bowles tamad sa depensa at rebounds, pero ngayon mas dun nakafocus si Blakely agad, kesa sa opensa, at last confy naipanalo na agad ni Bowles ang unang game niya...heheheh!

Ok lang yung game kanina, hirap talaga tayo sa RoSE, pero nahirapan pa ang kalaban natin manalo kanina!!!

Kidding aside, I thought he had a decent debut last night. But his numbers were already great. Double-double. May assists, steals, at blocks pa. All-around game. I think he has the potential to follow what Bowles did last conference. A monster import.

Back to his old self nanaman si James. Tamad nanaman maglaro. Mas aggressive pa siya nung All-Star eh. Umayos ka James, baka sa sobrang petiks mo, hindi ka makalaro sa playoffs. Eh dun ka lang naman ata ginaganahan maglaro.

I can take this loss. The team has very little time to prepare, our two best bigs (yes, one of the best na natin si JDV, how funny ) are out, and our key players are playing listlessly, yet tsumamba lang RoS sa atin.

I don't think they will take the game tomorrow lightly. Ginebra 'yan. I'm sure they will come out big.
