During the Communication Channels Committee meeting held recently, the following guidelines for posting/using Bretzie pictures specifically from other sources such as professional photographers have been drafted to aid everyone in practicing proper acknowledgment when posting pictures - as well as using them to make fanarts - taken from sources other than our own (Bunny Explorers, Bunnyrazzi).



#1- Please check the watermarks first. If you see a (c) (copyright sign), you are required to ask permission from the photographer if you can use the pics for your fansigns/fanart/promotions.



Note: If it's a CCL (creative commons license), be sure to check which CCL is marked before you use the said pics.

#2. When posting pictures, specify the source from which they were borrowed (e.g. credits to [name of fangroup/person who took the pic]). Simply stating 'credits to owner' is NOT encouraged. If the source has an official website, provide a link.



#3. If you plan to use Bretzie pics from a different source - especially if taken by a professional photographer - to make a fanart, ask permission from the source first.



#4. For scanned pictures (from magazines, newspapers and other printed media) as well as screencaps, indicate the source by stating 'SCREENCAP/SCANNED PICTURE BY [SPECIFY SOURCE]'. If you or your fellow Bunnies were the ones who scanned the picture or created screencaps, watermarks are no longer necessary.



Disclaimer: ALL BRETZIE BUNNIES are expected to adhere to the aforementioned guidelines. Anyone who fails to abide by these guidelines will solely take responsibility for his/her actions. The group will no longer be involved if objections arising from someone's inability to follow the said rules are brought forth by people concerned.
