    Possible vote manipulation?

I'm not a fan of Divine, I thought of the five she's possibly the least worthy to make it in final four. But I thought the way she was eliminated was kinda rigged. They featured Slater in 95% of the airtime of the other night's episode. The editing team really portrayed a hero out of him and made him look like he's in real danger, I believe that's the only reason he nearly got 50%. Probably the only air time Divine got in that episode was when she said something about her thoughts that she couldn't last a week more which I thought she didn't mean seriously but they really played it off. I feel like they purposely made a quick three hour voting so Cebuanos would panic vote Slater over Divine. That's just my thoughts and this is coming from a Slater fan. What do you guys think?

Either I'm the only one who can see this thread or everyone are just too happy with the big four choices to even care if the way they were chosen was fixed lol

Makes sense lol. I posted this because I remember that in Double Up fans were very confident Melai was earning the highest vote, they had to eventually reveal that Melai was actually just at third place before the fans rushed to vote for her, I remembered the backlash it got from the fans especially of Paul Jake's as they felt cheated. Damn, Imagine if the Power of One was introduced that season.

I like the Power of One because sometimes they tend to void the votings which is really unfair for those who spends too much money to save their peg and it's more accurate way to weigh in who really are the true fan favorites. But it can be really misused because of the show's editing, they can make a front runner get evicted because of fans being influenced by editing. I hope they do it like with Showtime's hurados where people are allowed to vote once a day for the whole week at least it will be based on the whole week of editing instead of just one episode that could be biased on particular housemates. In case fans change their minds, it won't be late for them.

I doubt it And I'm certain ABS(PBB) won't do such trashy act.Just ideate billions of pesos they are getting from other provenience, only losers buy such excuse.Ak ak ak

syempre kung gagawa ng kalokohan yung di basta-basta. yung magandang pag-plaplano pera di makitaan ng butas.

media/showbiz parang politics lang din yan. madumi!

One of the main prizes is a hosting job for TFC. Pamu and Biggel has no business working for TFC and between Slater and Paco, Slater is far more marketable. Could it be because TFC wants Slater so ABS really tried to make him really popular? It's like in America's Next Top Model, it doesn't matter if one contestant is far better in every aspect than the other girl or if the fans or the judges favors her more because it's Covergirl, their main sponsor who decides the winner.

It's possible that the fifth spot task could be a stunt to put him over. It's obliviously obvious that the entire task is based on Slater. Divine had the far least screen time the week prior to her eviction and her supporters were confident due to her high save votes last Saturday. I feel like they really wanted to blindside Divine since Slater and Divine share the same fanbase and they're both from Cebu, which is proven over time to have one of the strongest if not the strongest PBB supporters. He would definitely benefit the most from her eviction. Possible votes for Divine if she made it in the Big Night could add up for Slater's which it most likely did during the Big Night.

If you disagree with my post feel free to prove me otherwise or at least present why you think otherwise, it's not necessarily to resort to childish name calling. I am not making an excuse, I'm presenting a valid theory and argument. I am a Slater fan and a solid Kapamilya but I always keep an open mind not just not just to give credits but also critiques when I believe it's due for. Am I happy with the big four choices? Hell yes! Am I happy that Slater won? Hell yes! Do I believe there's a possibility that the way they were chosen could have been predetermined? Unfortunately yes. Just because I'm a fan of something that doesn't mean I have choose to blindly support it, I rather choose to keep an open mind on things.

I won't dissent from whatsoever argumentation and disputation you have on your mind.Im only being evenhanded to the parties entangled in this kind of shabby situation.I'm so sure like I said before ABS(PBBU) won't do such !d!0tic move. They won't risk their f+cking long-lived name and their f+ck!Ng long-lived reputation for the sake of just one show(PBBU) ak ak ak.BTW bro I felicitate you and your comrade on your triumph for making Slater the BW

di ko alam kung manipulation, pero di kapanipaniwala nung na evict si tin

PBB probably knows that Slater is the most acceptable winner for the viewers. Paco has been eliminated already, Pamu and Biggel have a lot of haters, Tin and Divine didn't step up that much. So, PBB wanted Slater to win. So.... they did the following:

    1. Carlo, Tin and Divine were eliminated. PBB wanted the fans of Team High Voltage to consolidate the votes for Slater. Same thing with Cebu's votes.

    2. The last 100 seconds was given to Slater and his Dad.

    3. Last challenge was Target shooting, which was Slater's forte. (PBB did not emphasize that Slater actually wasted a lot of bullets, compared to Paco).

    4. Surprise announcement of 2 hour voting for Big 4 on the night that Slater was doing his task. Of course, fans of Slater were watching that episode. Fans of the other housemates probably skipped that episode and caught off-guard.

    5. Because of No. 4, Slater got 49% of the votes, which gained him so much momentum. Paco actually got 2nd place, but he was too far. Some of his supporters (who are not as fanatic as the fans of Pamu and Biggel) probably got discouraged, and he dropped down to 4th.

    6. PBB also made sure that the other Big 4 housemates had their own moments to shine before. Pamu had her moment, same with Biggel before, and also Paco. So, their fans cannot complain that they were disadvantaged. But they reserved Slater's moment to shine during the final rounds of voting.

As I said before, I doubt PBB will magically manipulate the votes from the Telco's point of view.

They can however manipulate the votes in two ways: Primetime Editing and Staff Voting.

PhilEagle presented a very logical explanation though.

Did you even bother to read? Where did I mentioned that they physically manipulated the votes? What I was clearly trying to suggest was the possibility with tv editing manipulation to favor the creative team's favorite to win. Learn to read right before resorting to agressively ignorant comments.

    @PhilEagleIsBack @hydrangea exactly the point
